IIRC, all destroying the heretics does is make it so you don't have to do the sidequests to make peace between the Geth and Quarians.

Don't suppose someone could tell me what the consequences of letting Cerberus take the Collector base are in ME3? Though I can't imagine much would've changed considering the poor writing in general.

If you have a very low EMS score, having preserved the base affects the ending. There's also a scene in a Cerberus Base where you see the wreckage, there's more of it if you saved the base.

I missed the Renegade option with the Reaper at Ronnach because I looked away from the screen for a couple seconds. Did I miss anything?

Grrrr, why the hell is the galactic readiness rating ONLY affected by playing multi-player, I could've sworn BioWare said it was primarily SP, I'm sure they could have made an alternate way of getting it up, not cool BioWare

It depends on your class and your willingness to use Abilities. If you don't really use abilities (Soldier fits this perfectly) then the Black Widow is the way to go.

I'd rather not a sniper. Anything equivalent to an Assault Rifle?

Also, why is Dagger the only map spawning in multiplayer? I've had it majority of the time today.

Its really not that big a deal, just play a match or two and watch it go up. The matches on bronze take about 15 minutes

Multiplayer took me by surprise. I love it. Hope they add more through DLC.

I'm going to have to say that I was not surprised that both my roommate as well as I quickly took a liking to the MP, as well as realized we were rather good at it. We already had experience in this gametype from others such as Gears of War's horde mode, as well as Halo's firefight mode. It's pretty much them with biotic powers.

I like Multiplayer a lot, but I am worried about the time when no one plays it anymore. It could be anywhere between few months to few years depending on how BW handles the ending.

I don't know for sure about that anymore. Alot of people had played GoW2's horde long after the game's hype died down for the sheer fun value it had. You can even argue that this has more meat to it with the mentioning of classes and unlockable weapons

Hmmh, true. I still play Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 (FPS published in 2006) and there are still two active servers with 20-50 players and you need only 4 for ME3 (3 if good players).

So those of us without Gold never getting the "best" ending because why would I need Internet or a sp game is no big deal?

Gamers' rights are pretty slim anyway. When I paid 80€ for my Collectors Edition, I actually bought just the package, the extra material and an installation disc. The game itself I do not own - I just own the right to play it.

Now that I finished ME3 once I want to say to some people. I know some do not like the ending, I did like it myself. It wasn't perfect , but OK. Now people complaining about this starchild crap need to stop making stuff up just to complain.

Spoiler
It wasn't anything to do with being a starchild thing. The fact was this kid had been on Shep's mind throughout the game, so the catylast came to Shep in this form, So his/her human mind could understand and comprehend was was happening. This is just another basic Sci Fi thing they have done in alot of movies. Unknown alien shows up in some form so the humans or others can talk to it and understand, Simple SyFy cliche.

Actually the only thing I think is downright B.S. from bioware is the fact ME3 is the only one with MP and you have to play it to get the good endings. Do not force MP down my throat for whatever reason you have bioware. Alot of us do not like playing online with other people running around screaming at each other about how they got r***ed FFS!!!

Right, but you should be able to sell or buy back or even loan your license around. Because you have bought one copy of the license.

There's an ending thread you know. . .
Spoiler
Anyway, people are critiquing his circular logic, the fact you can't question him, his convenient last-minute reveal, and his necessity as a character (including the plot holes his introduction causes) - not his appearance. No one cares about that, or at most, very few people do. It's just a way to refer to him. 'The star child'.
