You can. In the case of Ash/Kaidan, you can choose to confess to them while they're in the hospital, and later on after they rejoin the crew, you can choose to continue or end the romance through a conversation on the Citadel.

Yeah, that is what I am doing. I finished ME1 yesterday, then rolled into ME2. ME2 is just flat out fun to play, I have to say. But story-wise, there is a lot of stuff they foreshadowed, it's interesting. I really think they were going to do something with Dark Matter and the Reapers toward the end, but I guess writer changes and stuff, they sort of got lost.

@Riverstyx - thanks, that is good to know. Lord knows I don't want to give up a cheesy romance scene in ME2 It's a heavy risk... but the priiiiiiiiiiize.

Mass Effect 3 multiplayer is the most addictive experience since World of Warcraft. After having completed Mass Effect 3 once on Normal, and again on Insanity (using two different shepards I imported from ME 2, both of which I imported from ME1). I've been playing nothing but the mp. I actually forgot that the Mass Effect series was primarily single player.

and the meaning behind the indoctrination theory is that if it's true then the only "good" outcome is that they intentionally did not give us an ending. Shep is still on Earth under rubble, which is the cheapest stunt they could have possibly pulled. The "buy more DLC" message at the end I ly reaffirms that they wanna squeeze an extra $10 out of you just to get a proper ending.

quite frankly it's a shot to the nuts of fans of the series.

I just wish from ME1 to ME2 there was more foreshadowing of the Collectors than a simple text message on a side mission, it seemed to be important to the plot to at least discover this through a cut scene. But hey.

I've only been in one gold game, but it's hard. Very hard. Enemies can take your shields down in about 2-3 hits, elite enemies spawn earlier and much more often, and everything has much more health.

Level X weapons are gotten by getting duplicates of said weapons out of supply packs. If you want to level the Avenger, start buying more recruit packs since stock weapons are common rarity. If you want to level silver weapons, buy veteran packs, and if you want to level gold or N7 rarity weapons, then buy Spectre packs.

What just happened? I tried buying a recruit pack and it said there was an error. Then I go to search for a game and it just continued to search?

I have stuff like that happen all the time.... like, when I finally Exit a group I've been doing games with, trying to buy a pack will almost always result in an error. I've taken to quitting MP and then logging back in before I buy packs.

Like.... join a group. There's only three of us (it's taking awhile to add the fourth), we're all mid-level (10, 12, 14), and the lv10 guy is also 10 N7. So the leader switches the game to Silver diff.

Or the game I was just playing. Doing well, not too many random deaths, good scores. Get to Wave 10, leader quits. When the game finally reloads, there's only two of us, and for some reason it's restarted at Wave 1.



(Personally, I only play Bronze. I don't have a non-random group to play with, and I've never really played the SP games on higher diff, certainly not more than Hard. The few Silver random matches I've been in have been abject failures, with people dying constantly, that didn't make it past round 6-7. I'd guess the higher diff is better if you have people you know, using headsets, and equipping all-game buffs. And probably picking an enemy so that you can select the right buffs and weapons.)

If you want THE silver class, try Asari Adept. She's overpowered as all hell right now if you level her correctly. Biotic explosions can nearly 1-shot large groups. Stasis bubbles can make Geth Hunters and Phantoms a non-issue. Even heavily armored targets like Banshees, Primes and Atlas mechs can be taken down fairly easily with Biotic Explosion spam (Throw still works towards a biotic explosion on armored targets as long as it's cast after the warp). Combine all this with a Carnifex, and you've got a class that can take down nearly anything.

I've beaten ME2 on Insanity as an Adept. I know how good they can be in the new game. I'm just bored of them is all. Three games I've played as one. So time to mix it up. Finally have a Mattock III.

Hit a target with a biotic ability with a duration, like warp, stasis, or reave, then hit it with another biotic ability. The exact effects of the explosion depends on the abilities you used, but warp>throw seems to deal the most raw damage.

You can do something similar with Tech abilities as well to cause Tech bursts, but I haven't found a reliable way to do those with a single class yet.

My favorite class in ME1 is Engineer because the amount of synthetic enemies, Adept in ME2 simply because it has such good skills, and Vanguard in ME3 because Biotic Charge/Nova combo.
