It only went down 15% in 3 weeks? Mine goes down 4% overnight lol. I'm usually at 100%.

Just rented #3

Haha! Ashley got some work done to her! She doesn't look even remotely the same.

^ When I read that first I thought that BW has announced something good for us, or was there a more personal reason you couldn't play it before?

I don't know if you recall, but for the past 7 or so Mass Effect threads, I have been playing through Mass Effect 2. I had it for a while, it's just that many games got up in front of it for attention. So now I can play through it and see just how mad I get at the end, despite knowing everything that happens during those last moments.

Spoiler
Poor Marauder Shields. All that time training to take Shepard out and he just gets blasted like that. It's almost sad.

Supposedly, Marauder Shields was the final boss and died trying to save you from the ending.

Sweet Jesus I had forgotten how awful the character creation is in ME1. Ended up just editing the DefaultShep a bit. Have to do more proper editing in ME2.

Damn it's just awful.

So is it just me, or does the Falcon grenade rifle blow chunks? (Perhaps I'm doing something wrong... you'd think that a rare gun would be better than this.)

It used to be good, but Bioware "balanced" it.

Its really not that big a deal, just play a match or two and watch it go up. The matches on bronze take about 15 minutes

I would actually love to try multiplayer but my xbox doesn't have an online connection, otherwise I wouldn't be complaining.

I agree, especially ME2, that one was horrible. You had to wait 10 minutes before you even get in the creation and if you screw up one thing you have to wait another 10 minutes. I'm glad Mass Effect 3 fixed that although the lighting in that menu isn't great either.

So I've officially started my 1st ME3 playthrough.

Is it wrong that by 2 hours into the game I wanna plant my fist into Vega's face? And I thought it was annoying to hear white guys acting like their ghetto......

And seriously, did Ashley as well as Liara both decide to take a trip to see Christian Troy since Mass effect 2 ended?

I will say though, I do prefer the sixy English accent girl over Kelly any day.

Edit: So apparently I promoted way more than I thought. 75 war assets per promotion. 1200 for my N7 Special Ops Team assets. 1200/75=16 promotions. This looks like I'm going to have EMS covered (I have another 2 classes already set to promote if that is what the specific challenge is this coming weekend)...

I had the opposite feeling. I didn't like Vega at first but quickly developed some like for him. His voice actor did a very good job with him, and he's average without being dull like Jacob who was both average and dull.

I don't like Ashley's new looks. I prefer the time when she was so ordinary - average looks, tied back hair as is preferred for female soldiers, soldierly attitude. Now she's a barbie doll who doesn't know what she should do.
However, as a die-hard Liara fan I do prefer the way she is now :hehe: I dogive her the outfit that came with the CE though which is less.... promoting about her features. Liara is way too quiet now though. Has much less dialogue than Garrus and Vega.

Yeah what i found with Liara was, id spent 1 and 2 romancing her and even a quicky before the mission, yet in 3 especially after you play shadow broker, its like, who are you again, was there something between us, then she is basically standing in the background nice and quiet, it made no sense to me at all.

Really? I was with Liara in 1 and Miranda in 2. Liara asked me if there was still something between us at the beginning of three and was rather upset when I told her "no". Miranda was even more upset when I dumped her. Bad move for me, because the Ash in ME3 wasn't nearly as interesting. :sadvaultboy:

I lol'd hard.

I'm sorry....you may be right to some degree, but when I think of good voice acting, I don't think Freddie Prince Jr (American-Born & raised
LA, California) to be voicing an obvious Hispanic character with a Brock Lesner complex going on.

I recently started my first ME1 play-through (Just bought it along with my Xbox) and I have to agree with this.

Maybe I was spoiled by ME2's character creation, but its just god awful. It took me 10 tries just to find a face reasonably decent that I could live with until ME2.. :yuck:

And now I see why everyone hated the Mako..

 That explains everything.

Poor Shields :nope:

Spoiler

Marauder Shields, Marauder Shields,

The Husk who held the Line.

The Guardian of the Endings,

The Protector of our Mind.

He tried to save you from yourself,

From madness for all time.

Lest you advance into nonsense

Stood fast and held the Line.

Marauder Shields, Marauder Shields,

He knew what lay behind:

The Glowing Kid, the Coloured Beam,

In three different kinds.

He sacrificed his life for you,
He did away with all his Blue,
He gave his Red before his Death,
And died Marauder Health.

It is indeed. I still like Hammerhead more, it's prettier, faster and doesn't get hit (because it blows up if it does :hehe:).

Here's some helpful hints to handle the Mako:
When it goes airborne, let go of the accelerator.
Avoid hills with jagged edges.
Use the map, there propably is an easier route than a direct line. For every bulding there is a road leading up to it. Not for anomalies and wreckages though.
