My game just froze in the middle of a multiplayer match and when I reset my PS3 and loaded the game there was an update for patch 1.03?

No, you only get XP from picking up datapads and completing quests or missons, etc.

One of the more "interesting" parts of multiplayer is trying to figure out what the heck other three players are thinking sometimes.

Like.... why did two of our team members leave, halfway through wave 11, in a game we didn't really have any problems in? :bonk:

This game is too addictive for its own good.
How good/bad were my choices, considering I've not played 1 or 2;
Spoiler

I cured the genophage and recruited the Krogan.
I failed to save a University of apparent geniuses.
I freed then recruited the Geth
I got Joker and EDI to hook up
I got with Liara
I released the Rachni monster and recruited it.
Tali died due to my actions with the Geth...

I have finally finished my second playthrough of ME1, really had fun but am ready to move on to 2. I have popped in 3 just to play around and it has been fun however the lack of dialogue choices is annoying. I do have a question though?

Spoiler

Do you get the chance to kill TIM? I don't want spoilers so just a yes or no.

I wouldn't call Wrex psycho. Aside from Eve and maybe the Urdnot shaman, he's probably the most level-headed Krogan around.
I have full confidence in Wrex but he is old and a pariah among his people. The world isn't going to end with the Reapers, the Krogan will be a liability in the future. And as for losing war score for abandoning them, the Geth are more than enough to patch that hole. You don't need the Krogan to win the war, just to die while the Turians mass up for Earth.

Wreav is the leader of the Krogan if you did not import. Wreav + Genophage Cure = Uncontrolled violent Krogan expansion in the galaxy. You just created another Reapers to replace the ones you just blew up.
The geniuses provide some nice points for war effort, not vital though. Also, Anderson's girlfriend was their teacher.
I approve of freeing the Geth. For a long time I was sympathetic to the Quarians but I've grown annoyed by their arrogance, ignorance and downright stupidity. I don't shed a tear if they fall, though in my games I always manage to preserve both.
Will be a short joy depending on what ending you pick, but still a good thing to get Joker some of that metal ass.
I approve with anyone who approves of Liara. Liara has always been my favorite companion and LI, though she rarely approves of my Renegade actions.
The Reaper-Rachni will backstab you later and lead to loss of warscore. To get them as allies you must save them in ME1 and then again in ME3.
Many consider Tali their favorite companion and LI but I don't like her at all. Tali is a total hypocrite when it comes to Geth.

Is there a list of what transfers from game to game? I thought there was but now I can't find it.

I failed to save a University of apparent geniuses.

Neat Easter egg that you might not notice since you didn't play ME2:

Spoiler
Jack (a teacher at the school) will appear later in the game as a hostile phantom.

Jack only appears if you imported a ME2 save where she's alive. She's dead at the start of a no-import ME3. She's listed under the pseudonym of Jacqueline nought.

Really? Oops. They really screw you over if you don't import a save.

Yeah, I know that sometimes life interferes and someone needs to leave. What confused me was that it was two people. And less than a minute before they would get their reward for playing. :)
(I guess there's the slight chance that it was two people in the same house/building/area, and something happened to their internet.

Yeah. Jack and Thane both start ME3 dead unless you import a save where they are alive.

I remember seeing a list of all the default "decisions" that come from starting with ME3. It's a cavalcade of terrible, damn near everything major is the worst choice, and everything minor is assumed to have been ignored. I can't imagine playing off a new ME3 character.

Spoiler
When I was recruiting the Krogan, I saw ruthless cannon fodder, then without the genophage I saw potential for a mass army of cannon fodder. Not to mention they seemed more battle hardened/prepared than their Salarian rivals - who apparently are backing me again
Not fully aware of their names - Who is Anderson again?
I've only encountered both species now (during ME3 since not played the others, yet). I encountered the Geth before the Quarians and saw their potential as a powerful synthetic ally since they put up one hell of a fight against me, turns out their fleet was even bigger than the Quarians as well. After meeting the Quarians and having one of them nearly kill me they seemed too arrogant, then there was the clips of them executing Geth. Geth IV seemed a lot more trusting than the Quarians - though he lied twice, but for the good of his 'people'.
The Joker/EDI thing seemed kind of 'cute' if you like, and in a time like that he's as well being happy with her than being left wondering. JAHO people. Though that would be some strange intercourse unless she got a more humanistic appearance/texture. :P
Liara seems like an interesting character, never dated a smurf before, from some angles she does have a certain appeal albeit she's blue and 108 yrs old. Oh lord! I'm a mega toy-boy
Damn and here I thought kicking their [censored] and sparing them for a little cooperation was a good idea <_<
Tali didn't hold much of an appeal to me, I didn't like how she was hidden behind a mask and all I could see was her piercing white eyes. She would have reminded me too much of Barla Von - ohhh that sniffing! That cursed sniffing :wallbash:
