Why does this always come back to exclusivity? That is one horse that's been whipped, beaten and kicked to death. Leave the damn thing alone, it's like a sore tooth with a lot of you guys, you keep probing your tooth with your tongue, but it just makes it hurt all the worse.
The point we need to stress over and over with these posts is the communication problem between Bethesda PR and the community, if enough posters keep repeting the same thing they may finally get the message. Continually rambling on about the exclusive only detracts from the questions that need answering.
1. Why are Bethesda being so secretive about the Dawnguard release on platforms other than Xbox?
2. Why are we not even being given a general referance as to when it will be released, if ever.
I believe everyone here would like these questions answered, I don't believe they want to know why the Xbox got it first. The fact is it did and no amount of whining will change that.
I believe you hit the nail on the head here, as you have said the exclusivity is besides the point, it happened it will happen again and there really isn't anyhting that can change that. What is concerning is the utter lack of the ability to communicate to us as if we were human beings, note Im not talking about the moderators as they dont know anything more than we do, but the people in PR and development in general.
Personally I see Forums where the dev team regularly interact with the community to be much, much less hostile towards those developers. Take The Secret World for example, regardless of how you actually feel about the game the fact that the development team and Ragnar himself (the director/producer) regularly interacts with the community is great, but not only that when he does speak about the game its clear to everyone that he loves what he and his team are making and wants the customers they are making it for to love it too.
That is the type of interaction id love to see here.
