PCPS3 Release Date Thread part 15

Then why the hell are you saying they should stop praising X-Box?

Because if they're favoring the Xbox over all other platforms they are not favoring the platforms equally.

Well that's true , I'm just talking about some words , some article about the mods that were made , how great mods make Skyrim , Etc..
Instead , all the time " Xbox 360 " " Kinect "

http://www.bethblog.com/category/modding/ Do you read that?

What about them sorting out the Workshop on Steam so it is easy to download and update mods? I don't see that as ignoring the pc base.

Microsoft also publishes windows platform. So why are they favoring xbox over PC? What is unacceptable is that Bethesda is not making any announcement regarding a few big questions floating around out there:

1.) Is it an exclusive? Some people are saying it won't be released to PC or PS3 at all.

2.) If not let us know at least what quarter we should expect it.. even a rough "soon" would be fine. Being quiet doesn't help anyone.

I'm going to speculate these questions are not answered because they are keeping everyone in the dark and checking their web site so we see what they are unveiling at Quakecon. Basically an advertising trick to promote all their upcoming stuff.

PS3 did get privileges, the most buggy version and unbelievably bad performance (pre 1.4 >15 FPS).......

If Bethesda would treat fair PC/PS3 users it would be released after 30 days of privilage X360 - but they dont. Microsoft X360 must first make money on it.
When and if they release Dawnguard for PC/PS3 it will be like Bethesda say: "Here you are our "beloved" PC/PS3 users. Shout ** and dont cry noobs we arleady have money from X360 so we dont ******* care if you buy it or not."

Gstaff posted earlier to say that he would have an update in the very near future.

That was the window for exclusivity, not an indication of when Dawnguard would be available on other platforms. The only date we set was for the Xbox 360 release.

I hope to provide more information in the very near future so you guys don't feel left in the dark. And sorry, there's only so many ways to say that without sounding like a broken record.

Although it's true that PC players have the advantage of mods, that shouldn't be seen as favoritism from Beth towards PCs. If MS and Sony would let them, they would enable mods for consoles, too.

Bethesda has given pc more love than ps3. Ps3 got nothing different just a simple game. If I were a pc gamer I wouldn't mind cos I'd have mods. But I'm a ps3 player and have nothing

Only one way to send Bethesda a strong message from the PC/PS3 community. Don't buy Dawnguard, simple as that.

You might as well give the DLC to only Americans first and leave the rest of the world out for 1+ month, that -is- how sick this is.
Or give the DLC to only dogs first and let the cats wait.

Who is the winners here? Not the community.
Who then? Bethesda of course, they profit somehow on these type of deals.

What do we do? We spend hours and hours frustrated because we are treated like second citizen people!
I say treat every gamer equally!
Treat every customer equally!
Because we are, just one community, The Elder Scrolls community.

It's Bethesda and Microsoft who brings forward these type of platform wars, X360 vs PS3, PC vs console, it's [censored] man.
Why divide us when you can bring us together? Stop the special deals! Don't buy Dawnguard and send them a real message!

Morrowind was the high and decisive point for Beth and TES.

Arena, Daggerfall..... we're talking about a different era. :obliviongate:

in this day and age where company constently complain about loss revenue due to illegal sharing. the icing on the cake is that companies are basically refusing your money by doing exclusives or just not even delivering any information about their ported products or stopping pc ports in the middle of a franchise.

well i have no sympathy for companies like that.

There can be no mods for consoles, consoles are only usefull for playing games but nothing else. You cant construct a game in a console

I didn't say they owe me something because I'm on PC.
I say they should respect everyone and do more extras for the PC as the PC were their founders.
Now that I'm thinking of it the PS 3 should get extras too.

Bethesda aren't giving Xbox the DLC first for no reason. They do because Microsoft paid for that. And you PC players have mods and all that that Xbox gamers will never have, but you're still complaining. Wow dude.
