DAWNGUARD ON PC CONFIRMED!!

Pete Hines on QuakeCon said it should be out now.

What? Sorry, but I am watching Quakecon stuff, and I have neither seen this nor is Dawnguard on steam. What is going on?

THEY JUST SAID DAWNGUARD IS AVAILABLE ON STEAM! I WANT PS3

I've just refreshed my steam search for Dawnguard. No results. I'm not paying attention to Quakecon, so he may have said that, but so far no results.

Holy hell, yes! Just saw the bethblog update, pretty excited. Not showing up on Steam yet but I have no doubt that it's just a little snag. I've waited this long, I can wait another hour or two.

We are not satisfied yet with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3. We would like for everyone to have a chance to play Dawnguard, but we aren’t going to release it for PS3 knowing that some people’s experience in Skyrim will be worse. We do everything we can to have our content available to all; from our free updates, to user mods, to paid DLC. We’re as disappointed as our fans when that isn’t the case, but we’ll continue to push for that reality.

And now we see how many people stick to their "not going to buy it after all this" guns, and how many fold in the end. I'm admittedly on the fence, because I've had a rough couple weeks and losing myself in a game for the first time in a month sounds delightful.

..this actually surpised me...thier not happy with DG preformance on PS3?? Skyrim preformance on PS3 is what they should be unhappy about! not some DLC!

I don't mind, it's a perfectly reasonable explanation. I'm just glad they've said something, really. As opposed to releasing it on PC and leaving us PS3 users in the dark with no information whatsoever.

From the bethblog link you can add Dawnguard to the shopping cart - I assume you purchase it (not going to yet, as I''ve got RL stuff to do before I get back to Skyrim). Out of interest, didn't the XBox DG cost $20? PC DG on steam is $25.
