PCPS3 Release Date Thread part 20 : V

I hope everyone can be civil about this subject. While it's perfectly fine to have a negative opinion about the lack of a solid release date, you have to express them in a civil and mature way. We do not want to see immature hostile posts :nono:

Anyway, the only official word we have as of now, is from http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1398818-inquiries-re-dawnguard-release/. So unfortunately we have to wait until there is more information.

We have not announced release plans for Dawnguard on platforms other than Xbox 360 (available worldwide). As soon as there's any new information to share, we'll let everyone know.

Gstaff has also said he will have more information very soon.

That was the window for exclusivity, not an indication of when Dawnguard would be available on other platforms. The only date we set was for the Xbox 360 release.

I hope to provide more information in the very near future so you guys don't feel left in the dark. And sorry, there's only so many ways to say that without sounding like a broken record. :shrug:

The 1.7 patch has been released for pc and should be going out to the console manufactures this week.
Dawnguard achievements appeart to be up on Steam, as noted by several members in prior threads.

I just had a thought... maybe when they announce it, it'll be to tell PC users that it's available to download. I mean, they're already putting the framework in place for it on Steam.

The achievements are up on Steam as well. Hopefully we'll be seeing Dawnguard very soon! It'll be nice to be able to stay at stage 4 Vampirism without being attack, even though its added quite a bit of challenge to the game.

I am looking forward to getting it into the CK. Changing that back, will be the very first thing I do for myself.

i think that ship might sink, Bethesda has already proven how mutch they care about PS3/PC by giving us lots of info on the subject(if you call none at all lots that is).

+10000000000+ respect. I think it's stupid that they changed that. That virtually removes any point in feeding, especially with some capabilities you get on the Vampire side.
Ugggh how much longer do we have to wait? x.x P.S. Bethesda's main presentation is tomorrow I think.

Eh personally what I want from vamps, is feeding giving you the good abilities, not feeding making things bad for you.

So if they went the vanilla game route and made it so you get more powerful when you dont feed, I will invert all that and just keep the everyone attacks you for the starving phase.

They added Dawnguard Achievements please scroll at bottom of screen.

So now since I see a big movement on Dawnguard then I am going back to play the game and stop complaining. They will release it because not only that but in the creation kit for the PC we have crossbows.

Can I ask (genuinely, not a dig at Bethesda) how they can have no information on a PC/PS3 release date, even though the game has actually been completed and released on the Xbox 360? They can provide us with release dates for games that haven't actually been completed, years in advance, yet they can't provide a date for a completed and released DLC?

They can but their pr department is probably not allowed to tell anyone yet. I highly doubt that they don't at least have the pc version done.

Bethesda Products (Save Dishonored) Are currently up to 50% off on steam. I don't think Dawnguard will be released today on PC though, that's a big missed opportunity in my opinion
