People spelling names wrong

My name is Othor, but people always say write 'Other'. So annoying, http://www.gamesas.com/ is not a lie.

But really, I always get 'Deven', 'Devin', 'Deavan', 'Devean', 'Doven' and 'Devan'

I don't understand how you could get 'Devon' wrong. It's a place and the easiest spelling.

Usually just mispronunciations of my last name, Lawler. Folks occasionally get "lawyer" out of that, as if we're all well versed in the practice of law. No problems with spelling aside from the Army and Navy sending pamphlets and what not to the Cawler family.

Sometimes people spell my name as "Jeffery", but it is actually spelled "Jeffrey." It doesn't come up much though since I go by Jeff. I have had people argue with me that there's no difference. The difference is obvious to me. Jeffery is pronounced
Jeff er ee, and my name should be pronounced Jeff ree. How is that hard to figure out? I have never had anybody spell my name "Geoffrey" or anything like that though.
