I see they nerfed GRS

It may as well not even [censored] be there now. I'm amazed beyond belief that they didn't also destroy Paralyzing Palm for the whiny [censored] who are going to buy this game anyway.

This is a good thing, IMO. The way GRS worked in FO3, once you reached level 20 and took it, you basically won the game.

Unless you were a complete spaz it was impossible to lose once you got to level 20 anyway. It was a reward.

FNV has 30 levels. It would be a shame to have a perk at level 20 that trivializes the other 10 levels.

It only refills 1/4 of your AP now so why is it there at all?

It's also the best level 20 Perk for most players (only to melee/unarmed and non-VATS users is it worse). the fact that the other level 20 Perks as so bad helps it.

Maybe if you were still allowed to choose 30 perks. With 15 it's completely worthless and idiotic.

He uses small rifles and accuracy to get the job done, he doesn't need alot of bullets. (I wish)
Hes not going to be a VATS user.

At this point I think I will be going for an explosions, melee, unarmed build. Since I'm playing on hardcoe I won't have to worry about ammo and I think this looks really fun but I will of course make a guns build later.

Sorry for being a nubbins, but I can only choose ONE per 2 levels? Can I go back at say level 4 and choose Hunter? Or am I missing something?

Also, this is awesome, soooo many to choose from.

Yeah its not a level tier (Although you do need to reach a certain level to get certain perks) if they're two perks that you want at LV 2 you can certainly select the 2nd one at LV 4

Awesome! I wasn't entirely sure. Thanks for the reply.

Ive noticed the list is absent a level 30 perk. Can't wait to find out what it is. The list is certainly impressive, but I'm not really sure how Miss Fortune is too different from Mysterious Stranger. So, if Im low on hit points, and go into VATS, she will lend a hand? It seems pretty vague. (Then again, so was Mysterious Stranger.) Still, very excited. :)

I don't think their is a LV 30 perk. If there was one I would have picked Gifted from Fallout 2 without the negative part of Gifted.

I've got to say that Explosives looks like a very viable choice, even moreso than Fallout 3 (and I was a big fan of Explosives then). There's a few new perks that cater to Explosives alone, the most interesting is Splash damage; 25% greater area of effect for explosives. There's also Hit The Deck and Heave Ho! - Demolition Expert also returns.

I'm guessing that Miss Fortune is basically Mysterious Stranger dressed as a Vegas showgirl (which isn't a BAD thing  ). If nothing else, you can pick either one or the other depending on your preference on how you want them to look. Or, if you get them both, it increases your chances that somebody (be it one or the other) is going to show up to blast people into mincemeat.

When I saw Miss Fortune I got the weird thought of 'Hecate' from Van Buren for some reason.(don't ask why, it popped in my head)

Probably right on the Vegas showgirl, the woman in their to me looks like a raider sadist outfit and a feather headdress. But yeah your idea makes sense.

I'm well aware of that, professor. I'm planning on getting those surgical upgrades that are supposed to be really expensive.

Why has this been moved to Fallout 3 Cheats, Hints, and Spoilers when it specifically discusses the perks and character creation in the upcoming New Vegas?
