DLC Exclusive

Anyway, I stand by my statement that people are getting too mad, too soon. We don't know any details about this yet...people are getting angry over pure speculation.

Well at least we are not talking about not being able to play the game for 3 days now :P.

I agree though why be upset? At least it is on the PS3. It could have been worse. No PS3 release at all.

More like devs and mods not being able to handle the heat.

More like a thread gets closed every 200 posts due to servers.

We close them at 200 posts because it used to make the gerbils cry to run in their wheels that fast.

Then we got super engineered Monkeys, and now we do it because nobody reads more than 200 posts before replying to a threads.

Sorry to disappoint you, but we usually lock threads at 200 posts, no matter what the subject.

Its in those pesky forum rules no one pays attention to.

Trust me - the mods can handle the heat with one hand tied behind their backs. Perhaps reading the rules would tell you why we close threads around the 200 post mark.

Edit: Hah three of us - see, don't mess with the mods. :D

Let's say there's two stores. Facehugger's Emporium of Emporia and Indulge's Indulgences. Now, the local gang comes by and threatens to torch both stores if we don't pay them for protection money.

I pay. You do not. The next day, Indulge's Indulgences burns down.

Would you be happy if I told all the customers who wanted to go to your store "Don't blame the gang who burned down your favorite store, blame Indulge, who didn't pay his protection money!"

The specifics of the situation here are totally different, of course. However, your underlying logic is the same between both scenarios, which, frankly, makes it invalid. Unless you agree that I'd be justified in blaming you for not paying protection money.

If Porche comes out with an mags which were designed exclusively for Porsche and I drive a Mercedes, and they don't fit the Mercedes, I can't get them and the company that makes them for Porsche won't make them available for any other car because they have a contract with Porche that is binding. These sorts of business transactions take place all the time. Eventually Mercedes will come out with something similar to make me happy. Of course, I would be happy to own either one. But still....it's business deals and that means someone paid Bethesda something extra for some exclusive content. Sony could do the same and then may at some point. We just don't know.
