DLC Exclusive

Batman Arkham Asylum

Thats one, one game with the total sales of 2 million+ sales, from the latest stand point.

However the latest Fallout 3 standpoint was over 300 million. Obviously we see that this game is a much more bigger deal then BAA.

Im a Ps3 owner and I still plan on getting FONV tonight. So what if Microsoft dished out a crap ton of money for a month or two of exclusive content that will prolly make it PS3 and PC eventually.
If we dont buy it for PS3 and PC then 360 sales are going to sore giving bethesda all the more incentive to do this same crap with there up coming titles. we need to show them that PC and PS3 has just as much selling promise as 360.

I would say this is the first time PC is getting passed over by Bethesda (might not, but no official word). I don't see this effecting the PC community much because they can still do more than both consoles regardless of DLC.

I consider myself an Xbox gamer who occasionally games on the PC and thought it was awesome Fallout 3 got the DLC first. But not that the shoes on the other foot it kinda does svck.

Well, I took that as Bethesda deciding whether to do any DLC but Obsidian actually making it. Don't know for sure though

Without modders, no mods. If many people are disappointed about this and decide to not buy the PC game, we'll miss out on modders and thus on mods. If this goes wrong, it goes wrong for us all.

Agreed, mods don't just magically appear but are made by fans of the game in their free time so they shouldn't be taken for granted... Or used in a DLC argument.

Are we talking overall 'GOTY' or RPG 'GOTY'?

Cause my vote goes to StarCraft II and if Diablo III comes out year - I'll vote for that too.

2 discs? i remember that.

good ol' MGS1

still not sure if it would work well though, youd probably get a crappy port. better off just getting both systems if you can.

I don't mind as long as the game is playable. I would get the PS3 but being too young to get a full time job and part time work hard to find I'm just out of luck.

all the systems are equal. thats why they should all be treated equally. im just upset that Bethesda cares more about money the they do the players that pay to play there games

I agree with you wholeheartedly and it's a shame that greed causes people to alienate gamers.

What DLCs for multiplatform games were those? Please let me know.

Mafia 2's Betrayal of Jimmy
Red Dead Redemption's hideout and outfit content
Lost Planet 2 maps
Arkham Asylum's Prey in the Darkness
Bioshock's Challenge Room and New Game Plus
etc...

Most of these are actual game content with extended gameplay.

I have to disagree. If all PC and PS3 owners ignored this and still bought the game as planned, all it would tell Bethesda is they can screw over the PC and PS3 gamers, get the big check from Microsoft, and still have the PC and PS3 community buy their game as they piss on them.

They only way that idea would work is if Microsoft decided to no longer pay them for exclusive rights since it didn't effect a difference in sales.

I juat dont understand why Microsoft and Bethesda are so retarted. instead of Microsoft wasting all that money on Timed exclusive stuff they could just invest in a furture game. and if bethesda would just release the content at equal times they would find that the PC and PS3 market would more then make up for that exclusive content but no they wait then PS3 and PC gamers dont want to pay for old content and they get less sales. similar thing happened with CODWAW when the MP's were released on PC it was like 2 or more months after the 360 release so less bought them. but this year when MW2 DLC was released just a month after 360 sales were on par between 360 version and ps3 version.

The DLC will come out on PC/PS3. It always does, we just have to wait a while until the MS benefit for marketing as 360 only is over and it's time to supply to the remaining market.

I wish people were more open minded on here so they could see things from another perspective. If the team who makes the game can get good money then they can afford the top quality talent it takes to produce these top quality awesome games. If they use special marketing it's ok and that is very acceptable. They obviously did the xXox deal because it was good I support them 100% on that because I want them to have money because I want them to be able to keep creating awesome stuff. I'm on PC so don't think I'm biased.

Of course sometimes things don't happen that way (/me looks over at Blizzard). I have no idea what happened with Starcraft, it made a lot of money and deserved a great 2nd version but "lets use the 2003 WC3 engine and then sit around from 2007 until 2010 twiddling our thumbs about the campaign and ignoring things like reworking the engine to fix the AA flaw or working in some high res textures for ppl who live in 2010" happened.

They said the same thing about the FO3 DLC - it was even worse on the PS3 - lockups galore, graphical glitches, items disappearing.

I never had those problems on the PS3 version

lol like final fantasy they put 4 discs in the xbox version but 1 in ps3 version

But if fallout new vegas locks up, bugs out or does anything that the xbox version does not i am going to be real angry since the ps3 should not be worse then the xbox one.

No fanboysm but the ps3 version is quicker then the xbox one but pc is quicker then ps3 and xbox

ps. i am getting a xbox for xmas so don′t hate on me lol (halo ownes ) (what every xbox really devoted fan wants to hear right ?)

a pc that can play fallout better then a ps3/xbox is very $$$

Why are PC people up in arms? Is this the same PC people who are complaining now, saying that they get to play with Mods, and is better than the consoles? You have your mods, 360 has the DLC which we have to pay for. PC mods are used for free.

I feel sorry for the PS 3 players out there agian.

If it's anything like the Fallout 3 DLCs that would be impossible, because those add lots of new unique models, not to mention voice acting.
