It's awesome that the rest of us...Especially the PC crowd that's supported TES all these years...are just sitting around, twiddling our thumbs, waiting for an arbitrary date.
Interesting statement. I too am waiting for my Xbox 360 copy. But to touch on your 'PC players supporting TES' comment, I've been supporting gamesas for around 9 years now both with console purchases, as well as PC, granted I only came aboard with Morrowind. But I've purchased Morrowind on PC and Xbox, and I'm looking to buy MW on PC again to get the GOTY version. I've purchased Oblivion on Xbox 360 with all expansions and DLC (except horse armour), I've purchased Oblivion on PS3 as well and I'm looking to buy OB 5th anniversary ed. for PC once I get a better graphics card. I've pre-ordered the Skyrim CE for Xbox 360. At some point, I'll get GOTY for PS3 and when I get a much better PC (eventually) I'll get GOTY for PC as well. I plan on getting all DLC for the 360 once it comes out. I've purchased the CE Skyrim Strategy guide and we can add The Infernal City and soon to be purchased Lord of Souls as well as the official Skyrim soundtrack to the list. So, for all these years, I've been supporting TES with console purchases, as well as and if not more than, PC purchases.
I'm not trying to show off, because many of us on these forums have made multiple, multi-platform purchases of the games and supplemental items in the TES series. I can appreciate that PC players started things off with Arena and Daggerfall and the mobile games, but you can't discount other platforms because since MW came out, these hated console players you speak of have given their own hard-earned money to gamesas in support of TES, and based on current pre-order numbers, it looks to be even more so for Skyrim.
Regardless, we need to set aside our differences and stop attacking each other and realize that as a whole, all of us, PC users and console users are contributing to the continuation of the series and we should have virtual mead together in celebration of Skyrim's arrival this Friday and in anticipation of the arrival of TES VI.
