I agree with you on some of this but you are also wrong on some of it. The spells do lvl with you, more become available when you reach certain lvls within the skills. They didn't call it stream lining, this time it is just removing all of the clutter, which to be honest makes sense.Who needs 86 different skills for each little weapon in the game? at the same time I miss having the option of short sword, long sword, tanto, wakazashi, katana, dagger, etc. I do hate how you can only unlock doors with lock pick now, and the removal of hundreds of spells and spell effects just pisses me off, but it is an overall amazing game. The Menu system is horrid, do you know how many times I have pressed B thinking it would make me go back to the previous menu only for it to take me back to the game? I really wish we had a flip style menu. There is a lot of things they could improve upon. Speaking of witch does anyone else get a Fable-esque feel with Skyrim, like the feeling you had while playing Fable 2? I am 60 hours in and I wont be done with this game for about a year!
If you can not afford that, or want to spend that there is nothing wrong with it, however saying gaming Pc's cst $3,000 is just plain pathetic really.
He probably goes to the Alienware website or other such websites where you can get ripped off on an average gaming PC.
