Just for kicks I cranked up a bunch of settings in Catalyst to the max. What I got was a really nice image quality with a buttery smooth framerate. I can tell the game is going to look superb and play super smooth on my machine. It just keeps freezing up every so often, but underneath whatever is making it do that I can still tell its handling the actual game just fine.
I overrode or enhanced game settings where possible. Morphological Filtering at 8xEQ with standard Filter, Tessellation AMD optimized, Catalyst A.I. at High Quality and enable Surface Optimization, Force V-sync on, Anti-Aliasing mode at Quality (Super-sample AA), tripple buffering off and Anisotropic Filtering I have to leave at Use Application Settings. If I choose anything other than that for Anisotropic Filtering, I lose that buttery smooth framerate.

All that is very nice but the base textures look like poo so I think it should look even better. Its 2011, I want crisp sixy texture. Its not my problem that they want this stuff to run on 6 year old technology.
