lol, it does seem to be a theme with yourself. I will try to tone it down, I just can't help but be amazed that you can get away with stuff like telling other posters to 'grow up', for example.

As has been said, this simply is not the game for you if you want that level of realism. Armour doesn't damage unless you die, helmets don't obstruct your view, weapons magically stick to your back without being strapped there, etc. It's called suspension of disbelief.
BECOUSE if there was an explanation why every archer in tamriel is using these infinite magical arrows it would make sense why they are using them and how they work.
you mean a minority wants it changed cause fragile "immersion" and care little about balance. Yeah, sorry, highly doubt they are going to change it for that. IT took the entire internet exploding for them to add 1st person and even then they were against it.
I like the idea of needing arrows, especially as something to craft but they also need every weapon line to be balanced and no reason for bow users to have an inconvience or $ penalty that the other weapons line dont.
It has to remain this way unless something was done to all weapon lines. Could base it off carring 500 hundred arrows.... Melee weapons must be resharpened or fixed after a 500 hits or they do no damage..... same with shields.... maybe magic staffs use something as well that can run out?...
Still haven't heard this 'good reason' yet.
i can take that much of dumbing but taking arrows out of the game? come on.
Why do the imperials go through a HUGE shift in the the armor design they use, a completely change in naming convention and a MASSIVE change in how they act in between Morrowind and Oblivion? That is more lore-breaking than infinite arrows (which can be explained by a bound arrow spell or enchantment)
Well you havent been reading then, I seen plenty of good reason posted in this topic, and the other topic about the same thing. No good reasons to have unlimited ammo though. Its just plain lazy.
Really? That's too much for you, but inanimate objects defying gravity is not? Forgive me a 'wow'.
you don't care about lore, you don't care about realism. all you care about is this balance. balance will ruin many games. not for you, but for many of the "minority".
I DO care about lore, but balance comes first in ANY MMO. IT just seems to me like you do not like and will never like MMO's.
Yep, and I and others countered every one of them. Got any more, or a response to my criticisms?
i like mmos, but i play the ones that you hate :/
Well done. Just ignore his point about examples of worse lore-breaking. How are those blinders feeling? Comfy?
What are YOU reading? I see the only actual, POSSIBLE reasoning being immersion, but we have already said Balance > immersion to actually succeed so i ahve seen no good reason as to why limited arrows are balanced in anyway.
You mean EVE? the one the one that is limping along and only a subbed game because the company has nothing better to do and know no one else cares about their game so F2P would not help them anyway.?
so if players are cool with buying and crafting arrows, why not have them? if it's not about being lazy to prepare, what is it?
no, never played eve. at the moment i'm playing nether. but you wouldn't even count it as a mmo so why do i bother saying it.
Minecraft? that is NOT an MMO, nor an RPG. so it cannot be that.
MMORPG and MMO's are 2 different things, and while ammo might work in MMOFPS like planetside 2 or a non-living world arena style game, it does not work in consistent world MMORPG's.
what there is to balance? if everyone is not lazy and will craft and buy arrows and the arrows are stacked and take up that one special slot designed for them what is there to balance?
You havent countered anything. Nothing anyone has said in favor of unlimited ammo is anything other than plain old laziness. I think ESO has sacrificed more than enough realism and immersion in favor of the lazy as it is. Probably too much to make the game successful.
again, what are you reading? it cannot be THIS forum at all, we have already given EVERY reason as to why Ammo is a bad idea in an MMORPG.
