My brother owns a PS3, I see where you all are coming from. 1)I just don't understand why you all blame Microsoft for a problem that is between Sony and Bethesda. I'm sure I'll get responses like "THEY'RE PAYING BETH TO NOT GIVE US DLC" and Bethesda wouldn't agree to that. It would lose sales for them, and in the longrun, hurt the company. 2)Also, this is only TES's second game on PS3. I imagine a few other companies had problems too. 3)As many companies said, the PS3 is hard to work with. It may very well be the better graphics (which may or may not be true, it's irrelevant) or it may just be Bethesda. In addition, 4)why does the PC never get any blame from the PS3 community. Either way, I do feel bad for you guys and hope it's resolved soon and is bug-free unlike Dawnguard and Hearthfire is for Xbox. I do hope for the best for you guys and it would shock me if we don't see an announcement by the end of the month.
Happy gaming,
Happy soon to be Thanksgiving to US players,
Bird
@1-I for one don't blame MS for anything in this situation really. I've been saying since the get-go, MS can't be hassled for trying to edge out their competition; that's just business. I don't think exclusivity deals are a good thing for the industry at large myself, but that's just me.
@2-Second TES game and 4th game on the PS3 using essentially the same game engine. Bethesda has had ample opportunity to work on the PS3.
@3-That rationalization stopped being relevant a few years back. The PS3 is not a new system and its no one but Bethesda's fault for not learning how to work on it properly in the 6+ years its been out. Incidentally, that is one of the few things Hines has said in this whole mess that is actually true.
@4-Why would they? The PC version is just as broken as any other version of Skyrim i've heard, they just have the ability to fix the game themselves. And they should be lauded if anything, not blamed.
