That sounds even better. Because, you know, I also like to be wined and dined after I've been [censored]!

I was to the point where I didn't even care if PS3 got DLCs. I just wanted to be able to make arrows.

Then I saw the Dragonborn trailer. Giant mushrooms...a netch...OMG! Now I'm angry again. :swear:

So yeah. Bethesda posted this new trailer on their blog, and I pursued the 100+ comments to see if there were any posts by our dear friend, Gstaff. Sure enough, there was one, telling a person how they could download this trailer. So glad that the good folks at Bethesda are so Johnny-On-The-Spot about how their customers might WATCH their content, even if they don't bother letting us know when we might be able to PLAY their new (and at this point, old) content.

Hey Gstaff! Can you point me to a good "Let's Play" for Dawnguard? I sure would like to know what it's like to watch somebody perk the werewolf tree in Skyrim. That would be great.

There is no justice in this world... this is when we need a Batman type vigilante to go to Bethesda's office and teach them a lesson.... on how to code for the PS3...

Everyone here should make a new thread everytime you want to ask, complain or critize Bethesda until you get answers. Just flood the whole forums with PS3 DLC release.

somebody did, they were Sony's developers... and based on the progress I would say they too have all given up.

I cant belive ANY of you are still giving Bethesda the satisfaction of even thinking of you as a repeat customer! Ive stopped signing in weekly, and now sign in once per month, and still see the same exact PR as week 1 Dawnguard...They do not care..Theyre now selling DLC #3 to 360/pc, and dont have the respect for you to tell you that YOUR NOT GETTING DAWNGUARD! Its less than 2 months before christmas, and no GotY has been announced, so there goes that hope (not that id waiste ANOTHER $60 on a Beth game, but nevertheless...Why give a company any fanbase who cant return a common decency, to its PAYING customers/Fanbase?!

FYI..If you look at the key words in the so called "updates" youve already been given your answer on the ps dlc situation guys...

"This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve"
"No, we will not release it if we can’t get the performance to an ‘acceptable’ standard. Our stance on this has not changed."

Maybe they havent announced it for PS3 yet because the 1.8 update hasnt come out yet for consoles. Thats the update thats rumored to fix the problems with the DLC. Once that update comes out we'll probably hear something.

Did you expect anything less from Todd Howard and Pete Hines?

Don't let Jack Bauer 24 see you slander the good names of Howard and Hines.... :ermm:

All true. Glad I traded mine in. I and I would not buy a GOTY if it comes out. Give them money twice? I don't think so.

When I saw that brief clip, I almost thought we were going back to Shivering Isles.

Then I remembered "Oh I wait, I play on PS3....I'm not going anywhere soon.

Hi all - I've been reading these forums and lived with you guys for months now and decided to join following this latest debacle from our beloved Bethesda.

I play on the PS3 and defend it with a demonic will, not because I am a fangirl ( I am a gamer first and foremost) but because apart from my PC it's the only reliable gaming console I have. I used to own an Xbox, 2 of them actually but following their rather spectacular deaths and ensuing insurance claims, I decided not to replace them but continue on with just the PS3 and PC.

I have loved the ES story-line and games from their very beginnings on the PC, and originally bought Skyrim to play on my high spec gaming rig only to find that my rather expensive game controller wasn't recognized by Skyrim and no amount of software or drivers was going to make it work.

I am disabled and my disability prevents me from being able to play with wasd + mouse but still desperately wanting to play Skyrim I made the, as it now appears, extremely foolish mistake of trading in my PC version (steamcode intact) for the PS3 version ... well suffice it to say that 8 Louis Letrush's, umpteen console freezes, framerate drops and numerous other bugs later I'm more than a little peeved at the lack of patches and started to regret my earlier decision to switch.

Ever the optimist I even held out great hope for some sort of DLC coming to PS3 with this weekends trailer tease ... that is until now. Now I am tempted to gather every game (PC or PS3) with Bethesda's name on it and take them back to the shop for a trade-in.

Bethesda I am so disappointed in you! I have been a fan for many many years and even put all the previous garbage behind me trusting and believing all you said about Skyrim on PS3 only to be completely let down - If DLC for PS3 isn't released soon, or at the very least a decent explanation as to why not then I'm afraid this is where you and I part ways.

Sorry for the long winded post.

I posted this in another thread, but I think it applies here. This is how I view this situation.

Bethesda is like Cell, and us PS3 players are like Vegeta charging up his Final Flash, the longer Bethesda waits the more time we have to charge the blast, until we release it. If they had told us early on that we are not getting the DLC we would have gotten mad and our blast would have done little to no damage. But they have waited so long now that our blast is going to [censored] [censored] up when we release it and they are in for a world of hurt.

This svcks. And the only thing we can do is never give money to Bethesda again. Like that'll hurt 'em. So it goes...
