It's completely ridiculous at this stage. It's been six months since the release of Dawnguard and PS3 users haven't had a real update on it's status since August. We are now in November. Since the release of the first DLC, another has been released (Hearthfire) and both of them were Xbox timed exclusives... though that meant only PC users were temporarily deprived because the PS3 DLCs weren't going to be released anyway due to technical issues.
Now we have the impending release of the third DLC for Skyrim and, despite the fact the Xbox exclusivity contract supposedly ended with Hearthfire, there's been no mention of a release date for PC users.
As for PS3 users? Well, like I said, there has been no substantive update since August and this trailer contains nothing to suggest that it will ever end up on the PS3 either. It certainly seems that Bethesda's claims that the PS3 would be treated with parity, receive timely updates and run just as well as the game on other consoles were lies. Get that - LIES. The terrible state of the game for many PS3 users, the updates that broke more than they fixed, the complete lack of any DLC for the PS3 and the dearth of information regarding when (if ever) PS3 users will ever get that DLC shows that Bethesda is really, truly incompetent at not only coding for the PS3 but also at customer support and relations.
It's bad enough releasing word of a third DLC before 1/3 of your customer base has recieved the ability to purchase the first one but the very idea that they would release word of an new DLC for the Xbox without even providing a perfunctory update on the PS3 situation is mind boggling in the extreme. All this has been a perfect example of how NOT to run a business.
