Okay sorry for creating another topic about this, but it's driving me crazy. The PS3 version can't be that bad right? I read on another forum about someone who had the game early and he didn't say it was terrible, but he didn't say it was good either. So my question is. If the PS3 and 360 versions are different, what will be different between them? He posted screenshots also and they looked like crap because of the bad camera. If the graphics are different what will be different about them? The graphics won't straight up look bad on the PS3 right? Also same thing goes for the performance of the game. If there is any differences what would they be? Please put my worry's to rest.

The game is also optimized for the 360 and built on that platform. They can make that 3 gb look just as good as that 5.5 gb. However the team that ports the Ps3 version is supposed to be amazing, experienced and familiar with the hardware so expect good things. probably only difference will be slightly better drawing distance on the PS3 and it will have more bugs.

Something could take up 50GB to install,doesn't mean its better.

I have iPhone apps that take up 5MB and have more content in them then an app with 50MB.

Also,PS3 uses Blue-Ray so that probably means they don't have to compress as much.

PS3 version seems to be very good , i was reading the Neogaf forums and i only saw very nice stuff from the guy who has the PS3 version, don't worry guys

If it wasn't made exclusively for PS3 it won't have superior graphics to the xbox 360. (this coming from somebody who loved MGS4 to death)

I'm a PC user who doesn't own either of those consoles.

The PS3 has better hardware than the Xbox360.

"The Todd" has said a few times that they showed Xbox footage because they didn't want people to see the PC version for example, then see the Xbox, which wouldn't look as good, and be disappointed. Rather, they wanted people to look at the Xbox, think that's pretty sweet, then see the PC one and have their minds blown.
For this reason, I'm confident the PS3 version will look better if anything, than the Xbox one.
I doubt there's any other difference.

EDIT: I've read through the thread more and realised I've forgotten a point.
Like many people have said, they may not have bothered making graphics tailor-made to the PS3's specs, so it may look the same, or almost identical to the Xbox version.
I guess my revised point is; It certainly could look better on the PS3, if they put in the dev time (which I hope they didn't.. waste of time really, graphics don't make a game - content does).

Been surfing these forums for the past month, finally decided to make an account after seeing yet another PS3 thread.

It's pretty simple, if Bethesda doesn't see that the PS3 has support behind it (has over 450,000 pre orders, and I'm not comparing to the other consoles) then it's clear Bethesda will never care about the PS3 or it's users.

I pre ordered Skyrim for my PS3 and won't complain or speculate until the game is in my hands and I am playing it. Hopefully the day one patch clears a lot of stuff up for everyone across all platforms.

Just saw the PS3 version. Looks stunning. Definitely on par with 360. If not, it surpasses it. I can already tell it has better draw distance judging from the three part demo.
