Had to watch that clip for more than ten times in a row. Looked stunning to say the least!
Wow indeed it does

What are the minor bugs? I'm sorry but i'm going to have a lot of questions for you. lol
Well sometimes it looks like npc′s are floating rather than walking, just stuff like that. The only thing that I could consider annoying is that the framerate sometimes drops.

A lot of those "minor bugs" will probably be fixed on the day 1 patch. You know, the patch that is going to be released on the actual release date.

Yeah that sounds annoying. How good are the graphics? Amazing? Or just alright. Also can you confirm that there are different zoom levels for 3rd person? Also how does it look in 3rd person? Are the animations a lot better...

The graphics are good but not amzing, they are obviously better looking games out there (still impressive for such a massive game) but the artstyle is superb and pretty much evens that out. If there is a zoom level I can′t find it, but the animations are much better. I′ve never played 3rd person mode in oblivion but in skyrim I do quite often and really enjoy it.

I′m playing the ps3 the whole day now and I can say it′s awesome. No freezes, no crashes only some minor bugs. And the graphics also look really nice.

Hey bro what can you tell us about this video we all are talking about? Is it that good on ps3?

1) Hows the lighting/bloom
2) Hows the draw distance
3) Are textures poping in/ loading and are they detailed
4) Hows Anti Aliasing
5) What graphical glitches have you experienced

Please answer tks!

How is the default zoom then? Does it show your whole character from head to toe, or...

I really doubt it will look any worse than on the XBox. My one concern with the PS3 is ram, which might lead to the lagging that Fallout New Vegas sometimes suffers from on the PS3.

1) I′m not that impressed by the lightning but it does look nice.
2) Sometimes things pop in but overall it seems pretty good.
3) The pop in is not too bad, everything loads pretty quickly and you most likely won′t even notice it. And yes the textures seem to be pretty detailed, I did not notice any incredible ugly ones.
4) Suprisingly good, I′ve expected way more jaggies.
5) As I said mostly floating characters, also things like your weapon go through walls. Besides those I did not notice any.

And in 3rd person you can see you character from the hip up.

I have to say I was suspicious about the ps3 version but everything seems to be alright, fear no more people lol.

I have always had a slight seeping fear in the back of my mind...this does help me quell that fear a bit. Thank you.

I don't want to be a PS3 fan boy... but i'll tell the truth.

PC will always be better, because it have no fixed specs, it will always change to new and better processors and graphic cards etc.. As a PS3 player, i admit this... because console have fixed specs... ANYWAY

I've been reading some stuff, and i came to a conclusion... first of all, let's not start a flame war, i'll tell my point and what seems logical to me..

1- PS3 came after Xbox, so it's logical to me that PS3 would have better specs...
2- I think i know the reason that most of the games are shown in the Xbox.. because sincerelly, don't start an argument with be Xbox users please, i'm just being logical... anyway, i think that most of the games are shown on the Xbox because it is the weakest system.. PC is the strongest, PS3 is the medium one, and Xbox is the weakest.. why ? Because PS3 was made after Xbox and PC specs are always changing to a better one... So they show on the Xbox because if in the Xbox the game runs great and have amazing graphics, this means that it will run great and have amazing graphics on the PS3 and on the PC.. Do you understand what i mean ?
3- This stuff saying that PS3 version will svck is just Xbox fan boyism... Please Xbox players, you have to admit that PS3 can be as great as Xbox, they are both amazing consoles.... why you try to make us PS3 users look like [censored] ?? And make us lose the hype for the game ? What will you win ? Nothing...
4- My friend have an Xbox, and i love it, and i have a PS3 and i love it.... Both runs great and have amazing graphics.. but since PS3 was made after Xbox, it's logical that it would have slightly better graphics...
5- Well, i think that's all... please don't start another flame war !

Someone said you could change it. Hopefully you can, I don't like how far zoomed in it is. Did you check the manual?

I find that in the main. the best way to avoid a willy waving console v console v PC flame war, is to never make a comparison, no matter how well reasoned and grounded in fact your post, an internet denizen will always have a differing view. :)

Well put by the way, I have gaming PC's a DELL XPS gaming laptop and 2 PS3's , an 80Gig fat and 320 Slim - I intend to get Skyrim for the PS3 out of choice.

when shifting from 1st to 3d person try holding the button you just used and while holding it push the right anolog stick up and down.

made any difference?

I have today gotten my hands on the PS3 version and have played around 3 hours and all my fears were false. It not only looks great, but more importantly it plays smooth. I was very suspicious about the PS3 version simply because BS had not shown us anything, but the Creation Engine is performing admirably; barely any stutters, great soft shadows, no noticeable slowdown.

All in all, I have to say that BS came through big time. At the same time I have to say that I have not played the 360 version, but let us put these niggles behind us: it seems as if BS has finally gotten to grips with the PS3 architecture.

I am very happy that it is a smooth experience, I hate the stutters in Oblivion, but thankfully, they are gone.

To all those still waiting, I can say that you can spend these days playing past Elder Scrolls games knowing that when you have the PS3 version, you can sit back and relax!

If there are any questions that I can answer I will!

Well not about graphics but what about psychic guards, schizophrenics NPCs and AI??
Those are my main worries about skyrim.
