Questions for Beta Testers (I will answer them.) SPOILERS

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 4:12 am

What about this "frost ogres" we've seen in the trailer? Are they new enemies in the vanilla game, how hard is to beat them?
There are only 5 of them, and they are in the Forgotten Vale. It would be very wise to hunt and kill all of them...

I found them to be as difficult as regular giants.

No Volkihar history then? How they went from frozen lake dwelling blood-junkies to castle-dwelling Bat-people?

One or the other.

And are you able to contract them continuously? Like let's say I'm a werewolf going into the game, I lose it when I go Volikhar, then decide I wanna be a werewolf again. Am I able to continuously switch between them as I please or does one of them become permanently locked out?

I just wish they gave a changelog of sorts, to see how much we effected the whole bug fixing process. Some of us put alot of work into bug testing. :)

I believe Aela will only re-turn you once, unless they changed it since the beta.

As long as Aela and Serana are there (and Serana is Vamp) then you can change as much as you want

I believe you can go back to being a Lycan once after getting cured but after that you can't become one again. Any other Beta tester correct me if I'm wrong.

Aela can give lycanthropy to you one additional time while Serana can give you VL as many times as you please.

Pfft. Predictable. You tried starting Dawnguard a vampire, right? Does Serana recognize you when you free her from the crypt?

Well, there's a little, but not much. This is just the main Volkihar Clan.

Can any of you answer my question with the Khajiit/Argonian and glowing eyes? I can't play the DLC atm, and I really would like to know if it was intended or a bug in the beta.

Cool, ty!!!
Also the new falmer armors, are they identical (visually) to the one found in the vanilla game?

No.

The new Falmer armors sport some very cool looks.

Take the Hardened Falmer Armor. It looks like a mix between Daedric and Falmer Chitin armor. And the Hardened Falmer Helm looks like it would eat your face... and you get to put it on your face. lol

But the new armor designs are very sixy in Dawnguard.

I simply like the Royal Vampire Armor the best. :D

Back to my one question about no magicka and being a vampire lord...
Ok so you can STILL use one effectively as a no-brain warrior, but would you say a mage vampire lord >>>>>> other types?

More Magicka doesn't hurt, but honestly any archetype can put it to immense use.

of course. You overall Magicka Pool is added to the VL's magic pool for increased power, like the WW and it's Stamina and Health

Are there any new marriage options?
Are the random vampire attacks in towns as bad as I keep reading?
What does the female Vampire Lord look like?
