Volkihar called Vanilla Vamps Thin-Bloods, You can get more out of the game by joining the DG and still be a vamp (Unfair much?) after the MQ, Temple of Auriel is in the FV and yu will get there if you follow the quest line

WAY up to the Northwest, through huge cave systems. It's in Skyrim.

Well, I said I'd make a thread, here it is. Ask me ANYTHING related to the DLC, and I will answer to the best of my knowledge. From simplest question to spoilers, go ahead. I'll be answering anything and everything as best as I can, and my fellow beta testers can drop on in here and answer some as well, if they see fit.

Ask away!

1. Are there werebears?

2. What types of crossbow

3. Can you craft dragon bone arrows?

1.No they were a prank that a beta tester decided to pull on you guys. Weren't allowed to add anything to it though so we couldn't debunk this.

2 two but each one get's an upgrade that let's you ignore 50% of armor. Then the bolt's which will have elemental affects. We have steel and Dwarven.

3. Yes.

Is that noticeable/overpowered?
The blunt weapon perk of the same effect sure isn't, iirc.

It's hard to say.. I tend to make my weapons very overpowered.... But I did to a pure playthrough... It seems like it's noticable. But the enemies are very tough. My god the dragons are a pain to kill. I managed to get myself to 300 damage shots and it only takes out chunks of health on the new dragons. and the ones I have been fighting are the second to last of the tougher dragons. I go through 6 bolts. That's 1800 HP! I play on adept! This dlc hits hard.

That sounds absolutely disgusting and kinda annoys me that such a thing would even be released.

When is Bethesda gonna learn that more HP = tedious/frustrating/boring.
Non-scaling HP but scaled damage = fun.

EDIT: Nvm I just looked it up.

It's still tedious, but not as tedious as I thought. Looked it up and we have dragons in the base game with that much HP.
When I first read it I got the impression it was like "they're even MORE tedious! HUZZAH!!!" :P

So our character gets those obnoxious new glowing Harkon-style eyes, right?

Did anyone try to change them back to the Sith-like eyes in the Ragged Flagon Plastic Surgeon?

As of the beta, the appearance changing NPC can't "work their magic on undead", so it's unavailable as a Vampire. :banghead:

Also, every race except Khajiit/Argonian get the glowing eyes.
