PC Screens

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 12:50 am

Hey console players that feel like they just have to say something in this thread...go away. The thread says PC screens, if you want to look at the screenshots great. A bunch of PC players start talking about how the game looks on PC and BAM, some xbox user (never PS3 from what I can see) jumps in and starts preaching about PC elitists. Why are you even here? It says PC screens, it doesn't concern you, go back to your xbox and enjoy it. No need to get the natives all riled up, that amounts to trolling and it is a waste of time. So yeah, just go away.

The [censored], how's that relative? I can see a PC user trying to defend his honor.
Just questioning the validity of your statements by pointing out a few flaws in basic English. I mean, i'm no "genious" but you should at least post a few of your own screens as evidence to give substance to your claims. I doubt your ability to see what is true.

Im no console kid. Im a PC user, but i bought Skyrim for both the PS3 and the PC knowing i would get the PS3 version first. You, get over yourself.

Its obvious you are the one that needs to get over himself. Everyone knows the PC version is way better, IGN, U1up are lying? Digital foundry lens of truth are wrong? LOL, A couple screen shots are useless, see it in motion on PC tere is a signifigant improvement. Heck just the lack of jaggies on PC alone make a big difference.

Umm no, The draw distance on PC is 3-4 times longer then console, IGN comments on this for a reason. Screen shots are not a good way, seeing it in motion is totally different.

It may be larger than consoles, that is to be expected, but it's still way too short.

Of course i am taking sides, all this is making the console users worried they will get a [censored] game, which isn't true. And the transfer from PS3 to PC won't be much of a improvement to me, if you look away from mods.

Roll eyes

LMAo tyou dont even make sense? How is the PC version looking better which is ALWAYS the case going to make console gamers worry? This has NO effect on the console versions LOL. To you, well, your wropng, IGN others have said as much they played both version you havent

That's neat.

Now post the PS3 screens that supposedly rival the posted PC screens. If you do not, your claims are meaningless and unsubstantiated.

So upon entering a thread called "PC Screens" I expected to see some screens of actual PC footage, instead half of the forum is crying about whether or not the few screens that are actually in this 4 page thread are good representations of what the graphics are capable of for this game on PC. I guess it's silly of me to think there'd actually be pics in a "screens" thread. Can you guys stop whining and creat a different thread for crying/ranting about this crap?? GET BACK TO THE SCREENS! Thanks to those who have actually posted OT content.

EDIT: Now 5 pages...

One might ask you the same question.

I've played the PS3 version for about 20 hours, and 'seeing' screenshot and various streams make me doubt the PC version even more compared to the PS3 version. Don't get me wrong, i would love it if the PC version looked even sicker, but i doubt it will be so much more than what we already have seen.

You doubt it because you have the PS3 version............................. live in denial fact is PC version is a lot better then PS3......... Many sites have stated this for a reason. 2 screenshots don't really show anything.

While it is great if the PC version looks better now...All that really matters is how the future of Skyrim will look on PC with the modding abilities.

Well, i will be having the PC version tonight, which is where i will be playing. I ordered the PS3 version because i knew i would get it a few days before launch. Doubt it if you must, just shows how ignorant you are.

Naaw, i love being with these elitists of the gamer world.

DarkZenith

Lol, of coure it will look better, but not different. People have claimed the PC version would look THAT much better, which it clearly isn't. It looks better, just not THAT much.

Wait until you have played the PC version, and then judge. It will look different, unless you are blind and/or stupid. Perhaps not to the degree some people are claiming, but there is no way in hell 5 year old hardware rivals or exceeds a gaming PC. If that were really the case, gaming PCs would be extinct by now.

PC version looks mediocre, as I expected. It doesn't look bad, but not amazing either. It looks pretty good.
The PC version looks "the same" as the console versions, but with notibly better AA.

The visuals are very far from the best today, but they're definitely good enough for such a huge, detailed game.

I'm happy as a PC player, Elder Scrolls/Fallout 3 fan and gamer in general.
The one balanced post in the entire thread. :icecream:

But yeah, would be nice to cease the bickering and for people who can to post some images.

You know, that's where the PS3 falls short. I can't hit Prt Scn or anything. But it does look good. :toughninja:
