Skyrim just blew my PS3 out

Post » Fri May 18, 2012 9:40 pm

So I enter Whiterun on my alt Argonian character, all of a sudden my PS3 rumbles and shuts down. I turn it back on and my entire HD is corrupted. I have lost everything on my PS3.

Riiiiight. It was Skyrim.

So it's just a coincidence that countless others are experiencing the same thing? Get a clue.

Seems to be happening to a lot of people. I can't say if it's Skyrim or not but I've never seen this many people have hardware problems with the release of a new game.

I blame the Illuminati and miniature Newt Gingrich.

Oh and by the way, they did the same to Dragon Age and AC Brotherhood.

Evil I tell ya, staggeringly evil.

I am positive that Skyrim is damaging PS3 Consoles, of all models. I am as about as certain, as the fact you will see quite a few people defending Bethesda with statements like "No, it's not, it was just old" or "No, it's not, you just haven't cleaned your HDD" or....etc.

Statements like these are always allowed on the forum, even though they supply no evidence to support their claim, meanwhile this forum is flooded with people saying that the game has broke their PS3.....(wait for it)......BASED ON THEIR OWN FIRSTHAND EXPERIENCE!

Stop harrasing the Illuminati man, all they want is for everyone to have a good time and you keep soiling their name.

There's no proof that it is breaking them either. Just because some people's PS3s break while playing skyrim isn't proof enough to claim it was skyrims fault. There's a fallacy term for this that escapes me atm... FYI I am in no way defending bethesda's wreck of a game. Just trying to be fair.

Would you like my to record my PS3 getting re-blown out? Like, record a video of my game crashing and then rebooting into recovery mode??? I don' think it's possible at this point. How can you d!ck-ride Bethesda like this? SERIOUSLY????

Understandable but it is a far-stretch to believe it's a coincidence that multiple people have experienced PS3 crashing and HD corruption only after playing Skyrim. The facts add up perfectly.

I don't see what good that would do. If you can get a video proving that Skyrim broke it, then that would be great.

Eabee, don't worry, we all know Alecto is Pete Hines, so his opinion is never valid to consumers.
