is it statues? because the cars are rly small or is it a bug? either way they are HUGE.

Repcon argument: I hope they have a good explanation for them.
Seems like something Wild Wasteland would bring out.
I mean, two giant statues in the middle of nowhere?
Kinda weird ain't it?

I'm just bouncing an idea off here, but maybe it's a statue kind of like how the Aragonath in LOTR are the sort of 'gates' to the Gondor region, and this is a way fo saying 'Welcome to NCR territory' (The right one looks like the Ranger we see alot of pics of)

@miami- What in the hell are you talking about? The pipboy light was pretty useful in F3. :stare:

@Gnome- MOLERAT :vaultboy: :vaultboy: :vaultboy:

In that case I really hope I can blow it up for the escaped convicts, poweder gangers or legion.

So if you did end up taking a look at the worldmap, how big does it look? How big does it look from just wandering?

By the way, awesome info. I like the "hitchhikers may be escaped convicts!" picture. Makes me glad that there will be subtle, black humor with or without the Wild Wasteland trait.

For what it's worth... there are real signs like that.

There is one down the road from the prison I work at.

In that one pic using speech with the super mutant, the numbers are 38/50. Can anyone elaborate on that?

The effect of White Horsenettle, you're losing -1 End and -1 Agl, and gain +1 HP (5s) Can someone expand on that as well? doesn't seem like a good benefit for losing 1 on 2 specials.

And Fixer, the Temporary Addiction Removal.... so if it's only temporary, you're addiction will return after a certain amount of time? How long? Anyone have an answer? Thanks!

As far as I know it means that for having a successful speech check you should have 50 in your speech skill and 38 is your actual speech skill.

Or, hum, to put it in a more understandable way

[SKILL Your skill points/Skill threshold ] Failure text option.

I understood the first way. I just never saw that anywhere else and it looked like it was saying you had 38 out of a max of 50, which didn't make any sense. If you have 50 or more, that means you're guaranteed to have a successful speech?

What SPECIAL were you set at? I was hoping to find out so I could kind of gauge the skill point/Intelligence relationship.

From what I understand of the system, yeah, and it should show a [SPEECH 50] Successful option (the text changes depending on whether you pass the threshold or not).

I like the dialougue more already .-. I would guess being an idiot could actually help talking with super mutants so you won't confuse alot of them >_>

P.S. do you still have a chance to pass the speech check even if you don't have that much skill?

I would assume that it works exactly like Speech in Fallout 3, but showing you exactly what your ideal speech skill should be if you want to have no problems with passing it. By the way, the super mutants confirmed so far are either smart (Neil and Marcus) or crazy (Tabitha). I wouldn't be surprised if there are several friendly and at least slightly intelligent super mutants scattered about the area, as well as in Jacobstown.
