You can mod silencers on guns, too.

Yeah. While I was looking through the list of mods (that the character had, not all of them) and I saw a silencer for a Sniper Rifle.

Everything sounds and looks good. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that the supermutant's still look very angry but I don't mind.

But there are only 3 mods per weapon in this game, and for the hunting rifle they've confirmed a scope, and a better bolt. I think the last will be an extended magazine. I thought this was a pic of a hunting rifle with a scilencer, but I was disapointed.

You can put up to three mods on a weapon. So what's the problem? There will be more than three mods available but you don't have to use the scope, bolt and extended mag. You can have a silencer instead of one of those.

It was never said that a scilencer is a mod for the hunting rifle.

There's conflicting information in the bowels of Hell the forum about 3 mods per weapon versus each weapon has a maximum of three possible mods. I've seen both listed and have tried searching through past threads to find the information but have no luck.

We know we can only have three mods on some weapons (we've only seen two for the 9mm pistol, which is a scope and an extended magazine), but it's still unclear if three is also the maximum amount of mods a weapon may exist with as well. For instance the cowboy repeater has been shown to have an extended feeder, a maplewood stock, and a brass plate in one of the pieces of concept art. Are these the only choices for the repeater, or just a few examples of what we can put on the repeater? Same goes for hunting rifle, shown with a scope, custom action bolt, and extended magazine in another piece of concept art.

Give me about two minutes and I'll edit this post to provide the pieces of concept art I am talking about.
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Hunting_Rifle_(Fallout:_New_Vegas) - Left most one is the original, unmodded rifle. Second is the scoped version. Third is the custom action bolt (noticeable by the striations in the visible portion of the barrel next to the bolt), and the right most one is the version with the extended magazine. So the question begs if these are:
- the only available mods for these guns
- only available for these guns, but not the only choices
- or just a few examples of the possible mods for this weapon.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Cowboy_repeater - Leftmost is original, second is brass plating, third is maplewood stock, and fourth is extended feeder.

Its never been said that the three mods you mentioned are the only three for the rifle either. Three can be added I'm sure that a lot of guns will have more than three options to choose you just can't put more than three on.

From looking through your pictures, you seem to have spoken to a Super Mutant. WHAT DID HE SOUND LIKE? Did it sound like one of the Super Mutant talking heads from the first games, or the Jerry Lewis "HEY LADY!" voice from Fallout 3?

Believe it or not, but that wasn't me playing. I merely snapped a pic of it when I was in line and, unfortunately, there are headsets at every station so I didn't hear anything.

Haha, shucks. According to IMDB, the voice actor is different (obviously) but I sincerely hope they based the voice on the originals.

J.E. Sawyer, can you explain this for me? http://s766.photobucket.com/albums/xx303/IntactGardenGnome/?action=view¤t=FNV003.jpg I was walking past Primm and that convict started shooting at me. Could this be another bug that needs fixing?

After 80 minutes of play, what was your favorite "moment"? Also, favorite location, favorite new creature, all that mess.

Is the dialogue as good as they've been touting it to be? How many different reputation meters did you see? Anything really cool looking/sounding you saw at a merchant that you couldn't afford?

No I haven't seen any because they know who I am and cower in fear when I'm around.

@Aonaran, probably my favorite moment was during my "hour playthrough". It was night. I was walking in the desert with not a soul in sight, my only friend, a humble tumbleweed. Suddenly, without warning, an ambush of Golden Geckoes leaped out into the void and straight into my unwitting self. I fired furiously, surrounded on all sides. I came out with a sturdy supply of gecko meat.
