Stuff I found at PAX

Well on one side is Crescent Canyon and the other side is Crescent Canyon East. Both count as locations.

They both are separate locations on the map? Oh and that pic with the ncr inventory is that a dead ncr npc? It has 100 ncr dollars, some guns, a face wrap, armor...is that an ncr body you're looting?

Yes! You should really update the OP to include the information that:

Weapons have STR requirements to use them!!! YES! Thank you Obsidian.

Everyone take a look at the eighth picture from the end. The return of SPECIAL stats to being important is upon us! :celebration:
However, STR requirements does NOT mean that if you have under that Strength level you cannot use the weapon. Lower STR = more spread/less control over the weapon.

Basically if a Minigun has a STR of 7 and you only have 4, you can still use, just you won't be able to hit the broad side of a barn.

he said as J.E.S watched silently from the list of topic viewers.

Also: I'm lovin' that supermutant. I wonder if the more important ones look unique? You obviously have Marcus and that other mutant over at Jacobstown. Then you have him.

Why is that so hard for you to believe?

Nobody said the binoculars are unique. Yes, we will most likely find a canteen. No, we will not find a Vault 13 canteen.
To recap: Aside from the Vault 13 canteen (available with the http://bethblog.com/index.php/2010/06/10/fallout-new-vegas-digital-pre-sell-packs-now-available/), there are no other standard canteen items. That being said, there are canteens on suits of armor.

The Vault 13 canteen will be the only standalone canteen item, but there will be other "canteens" built into suits of armor. If it's all of them, I have no clue.

REALLY old news.

aww come on there's TONS of info out about this game so it's easy to miss some.

Well, it was new to me. :whistling:

That kind of svcks to learn. So if I have a STR of 1, I will somehow manage to still be able to pick and use a minigun? That spread penalty better be HUGE. Less spread and control over a weapon doesn't matter much if I open up on an NPC with a minigun pressed to their chest, does it?

What do you mean? I'm sure if you find a hunting rifle in the game you can mod a scope onto it.

I'm talking about the SILENCER.

Based off of what the devs had told us, that would be a HUGE spread. But we'll just have to see how much was fact and how much was exaggeration when the game comes out.

I know. I was asking if important mutants had unique looks, because I noticed the variation. That mutant in one of gnome's screenshot looks slightly more akin to Fallout 3s than Marcus and the mutant in the back.

I'm talking about the SILENCER.

You can mod silencers on guns, too.

But there are only 3 mods per weapon in this game, and for the hunting rifle they've confirmed a scope, and a better bolt. I think the last will be an extended magazine. I thought this was a pic of a hunting rifle with a scilencer, but I was disapointed.

No, they said you can have three weapon mods on one weapon. Not that there's only three per weapon.
