A testament to how good this game is, and how low the system requirements are. :D

God I have so many statues, it's hard to place them. I did figure out a good use for them though, if you want to keep zombies out of your house on a Blood Moon put them inside in front of the door and it will keep it from openning inwards (and usually zombies spawn outside) so yeah. Probably well known already, but I figured i'd just say it in case some don't.

You can use any item for that purpose, I use cheap torches on the inside of the doors. Not that it matters in hardmode with all the wraiths and clowns. :banghead:

I'm building something huge, but wow it is taking forever. I could never do this everytime, or do any sort of pixel art, and it's probably the reason I never wanted to play Minecraft, it gets boooooring sometimes. Maybe it's just because I'm itching to get in to the new content and I haven't yet.

I'll post pictures when I'm done, might be a couple of days.

I bought this game a few days ago I just like the wide variety of things to make and monster to kill which hey are quite tough. I have not found anything really good yet, I want to make a better pickaxe though. My copper one is tool slow. I just want to play skyrim as well. Both are good time sinks....

Yes! Just beat the Wall of Flesh! :D I found that the hardest part of the fight was keeping my hand steady when shooting it (my hand was shaking due to nerves). I also accidently dropped my swiftness potions when trying to drink one too  . I recommend the space gun, water bolt, minishark (with around 1500 bullets of any type), molten fury with hellfire arrows and molten armour.

Well, after about 130 hours of pre-1.1 Terraria, and countless numbers of Goblin invasions, I finally found the Goblin Tinkerer today and bought myself my first pair of Rocket Boots.

Epic. B)

Pre-1.1 I've found a pair of boots from almost every invasion.

If you have Hermes Boots you can buy the Tinkerer's Workshop from him and combine the two into Spectre Boots.

I tried to make a bunny gladiator pit where bunnies unintentionally set off dart traps and kill other bunnies (spawned via Bunny Statue), and it failed pretty badly... When I actually get it to function it will be glorious

Holiday update incoming, December 15th, I believe. I wonder if this will be optional, and if it will stay forever or if it will be something like a 2 week patch-thingy that'll be patched out? I'm interested to know how this is going to work.

I believe that's the new snow biome they were thinking about adding a while back, good timing too.

I've done it, George I've done it! I captured two Goblins who attacked my house, and they are now captives in my old glass trap meanwhile another goblin managed to make his way underneath a prototype bunny gladiator arena... Ha.

I'm going to be annoyed if I have to start another world just for this biome, two weeks after 1.1.

I just realized too, that picture totally looks like a depiction of the Snowman Mafia. :P

It'd be cool if Santa Claus turned out to be a boss enemy that you could fight after collecting enough (corncob pipes/coal buttons/carrot noses) from the snowman.

I'd make him toss 'presents' (bombs?) from his sleigh.

Wonder if the snowmen are part of an invasion or just a standard biome enemy?

Grenades please, not bombs. The clown is already one explosive-griefing mob too many.

I wish they hadn't removed the sparkle effect from ore/gems, I liked the effect better than the dull looking ones we have now.
