I wonder if there will even be an assault on the Prison this season...

Who knows...

Season 3/Final Episodes:
Spoiler
We do know that there is another assault on Woodbury with Rick, Daryl, Michonne & a black haired woman with them surrendering to Woodbury, this is seen in the pics from sneaky fans around Senoia. As for the Prison, nothing was seen by the public, but I would think something has to happen to them before the end of S3.

A little tease for Episode 14 - 'Prey'

"Scoop, please!" — Seth

NATALIE: "Fans of the comics will be both pleased and absolutely terrified by a..." (Slight spoiler, but mainly just a teaser with a bit of a comic spoiler.)
Spoiler
"...particular setting in this Sunday's episode that is pulled straight from one of the most vile and frustratingly heartbreaking portions of Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead comic book. But, just like an earlier scene this season, the twist involves who will step foot in this infamous location.
---

In one of the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhsFcyMLrZw we see a torture room so maybe that's what she's talking about....

As for the twist, hopefully it's Andrea who get's the Michonne treatment from the books. Some think it will be Sasha, but we have nothing invested in her so I doubt that...

The thought of TV-Andrea suffering makes me smile for some odd reason...or 20.

So, I just finished the game, and I enjoyed the heck out of it. I think it's safe to say that it's in my Top 10 list of favourite games. It's like an (expertly-written) interactive TV show. I love the focus on story over gameplay. Even though the gameplay was mostly just clicking around and the occasional button mashing, I was still really engaged by this game. And one of the things I think they did right was a timer on some of the dialogue options, it really adds an urgency to it and encourages you to pick a response on instinct, instead of coldly calculating which path will net you the most benefit or whatever. It's pretty great. I also like the Mass Effect style presentation of dialogue, which has you choose an option that Lee then emotes more fully. It's actually quite good at following my original intention, so there were very few moments where I picked the "I don't know about this..." and Lee went "NO YOU >:[ ".

Things I would have done differently: (huge spoilers for the game, obviously)
Spoiler
- I wouldn't have killed that creepy-looking St John brother with the pitchfork
- I would have let Ben take the blame so that Carley wouldn't get shot. Ben was an okay bloke, but Carley was the best
- I would have kicked that [censored] [censored] Lilly out of the RV. At the time I just thought I shouldn't be so ruthless in front of Clem.
Other than that I think I was quite happy with my choices. I was mostly a decent person, was honest and tried to be a good example to Clem. I even sided with Lilly against Kenny when he dropped a brick on Larry.

One thing that I was never fully satisfied with: (episodes 1 and 2 spoiler)
Spoiler
At the end of the first episode when we were all making a run for it, Larry punched me in the face so that the zombies would eat me. I can handle any number of verbal unpleasantness, but THAT MAN STRAIGHT OUT TRIED TO MURDER ME. Not just in a Kenny-hesitating-with-helping way, but actively trying to kill me. I thought the game should have addressed that, because my first inclination after reaching the motor inn was to put a cap in his bastard face.

Also, I didn't understand the post-credits epilogue:
Spoiler
Why was Clem at some random field instead of at the train station like planned? Why was ominous music playing when Clem saw the two figures in the distance? Isn't that Omid and Crista? I entrusted Clem to them two, told them to wait at the train station, and told Clem to stay away from cities, if any of that affects the epilogue.

Telltale Epilogue:
Spoiler
From what I have seen, that ending always happens. The two silhouettes in the distance are just place holders, per Telltale, so they could be anyone. I'm anxious to see what they are planning to release before Season 2, hopefully it's a bridge that continues after and not just a side story.

@Tranquilus

Spoiler

I agree with you about the punch in the face in episode 1. Thats something to start a small civil war for. Larry wanted to kill a Non-Infected and he punched you in the face . The thing is...

If Lee brought it up, realistically everyone would've sided with Lee and kicked Lily and Larry out of the group and made him leader... we could have had a completely different game. That being said it still should have been brought up.

I know it would probably Never happen... but i think it would be awesome if The Walking Dead game touched the T.V. show or the comic.

edit: holy crap, i just realized Glenn used the radio he stole from Clementine to save Rick, also i had no idea THIS https://twimg0-a.akamaihd.net/profile_images/2620328427/58w46vvx6n1v7c5w3yft.jpegis the same http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120904151855/walkingdead/images/6/68/Hershel03p.jpg that kicked Lee off his farm

Spoiler
That's true. I don't see how that could have been resolved in another way... but still. They should not have included that punch then. It basically made me lose all sympathy for Larry's POV, and made the decision in the meat locker much harder than it should have been.
Actually, did they develop all this at once and then release it one at a time? Or did they make one or two, then release one?

Ohhh, it's a cliffhanger. Didn't know there were going to be sequels. That's good news.

I'm also kind of curious about a decision in episode two (the ending stats weren't very clear) - did you guys

The episodes were supposed to be released one per month, before Season 3 of the show started, but when they were putting the final touches on the first one they said that they had to go in and re-do all the other episodes because they improved the first one too much and the following episodes didn't feel as compelling. The long waits between all the episodes after 1 was because they started over on them one at a time, iirc.

There's a long interview about it, I can't seem to find it now, but it goes into more detail than that and I'm not sure about the whole process outside of that tidbit.

Ohhh, it's a cliffhanger. Didn't know there were going to be sequels. That's good news.

Yep, Season 2 will hit sometime this Fall and they announced that additional content will be released before then to bridge the gap, but no info. on what it is. They did mention that Season 2 will include save transfers from Season 1.

I'm also kind of curious about a decision in episode two (the ending stats weren't very clear) - did you guys

Killed them the first time but regretted it seeing how it affected Clementine. On my second time, I left them there to get eat by walkers considering they were both incapacitated.

A possible 3 airings of the one show in one night, is there nothing else on TV
Over here it's on a channel called FX, think it renamed to Fox-something, but it only shows new episodes on a Friday at 10/11PM which is well into advlt time TV. Repeats are on the following Wednesday at the same time.
AMC just likes to do that with all their mega-popular shows that run on Sunday's (here). Breaking Bad gets the same treatment, when it's on. Then they also play "last week's" episode during the hour before the first airing of the new episode. (last week's at 5pm, new one at 6pm). I'd assume repeating the shows and selling ad-time even for the repeated showing = more money than playing anything else that evening.

Sorry, been working a lot lately. A lot of new spoilers surfaced!!!

Episode 14 - 'Prey' Summary:
Spoiler
--Keep in mind, this is from a different source than normal so take it with a grain of salt, but it seems legit!--
"The episode starts off with a flashback of Michonne and Andrea sitting by a camp fire in the winter. They are both eating and Andrea notices that Michonne’s walker pets are getting restless. Andrea asks where she got them, if she knew them and if she wanted to talk about it. Andrea apologizes but Michonne says it’s ok because ‘they weren’t human to begin with anyways.’ Flash forward to The Governor being in his torture room. He tests out his chains to see if they’re sturdy enough and ready to be in use and gets a look of satisfaction…. http://i.imgur.com/XKu5v8J.jpg?1

-INTRO-

Martinez and his men are loading up the pick-up truck with guns. Milton shows up and asks if the Gov. is behind this and Martinez gives vague answers. Andrea shows up and asks about the deal between Woodbury and the prison. Martinez ignores her but Milton says it’s just a precaution and they just want a show of force. Back to the Gov, he takes out all of torture equipment on the table and Milton is seen in the distance looking at him. Milton starts to walk away quickly but the Gov. sees him and calls out to him. Milton questions what he was doing and the Gov. calls it his ‘workshop’. Milton continues to question the Gov. and reminded him of their original plan to try and beat the virus and pleads to the Gov. to just let it all go, including Michonne, and move on. The Gov. asks Milton if he believes that the biters still have their old selves left inside them, Milton agrees but says it doesn’t matter anymore despite what Michonne did to Penny. The Gov. says it all matters and leaves.

Milton tells Andrea that the Gov. has no plans to leave the prison alone, about the Michonne bargain and the plans of killing everyone there whether or not they give her up. Milton shows Andrea his torture room (see preview) and Andrea decides to FINALLY do something about the Governor. Milton stops Andrea from taking her shot at the Gov . in the torture room claiming that she won’t leave alive and Martinez will just carry on his terror. Andrea decides to leave and bring Milton with her but he refuses and claims that Woodbury is his home but Andrea belongs with Rick’s group. Walking down the street, Martinez calls out to Andrea a couple times asking her for her weapon and ammo, Gov’s decision. The Gov. shows up right after and tells her that he wants to protect her from the situation and she plays dumb about it and moves on. Tyreese and the Sasha are keeping guard at one of Woodbury’s walls and Andrea shows up claiming that she was ordered to take watch. Tyreese refuses unless Martinez says it himself and Andrea attempts to leave. They try to stop her but she pulls a knife on them and explained that Woodbury isn’t as nice as they think and she was also fooled. They let her go.

Tyreese and his group talked to the Gov. about Andrea leaving (Allen and Ben were against letting her leave). The Governor asks them to help Martinez with his run. The Gov. plans to go find Andrea and Milton tries to stop him and asks him to let her go since she wants to be at the prison. The Governor figures out that Milton spoke to her and gets furious. He grabs Milton and asks if he also told her about killing Michonne. Milton nods ‘yes’ out of fear and the Gov. pushes him and storms away. Tyreese and co. talk to Martinez about the run and hope that they’re not going after Andrea and they become more and more suspicious. Allen and Tyreese argue about Donna for a bit and then they leave for the run. Andrea, walking down the road, hears a car and hides in the woods. The car passes but an arm grabs her from behind a tree and suddenly there are two walkers in front of her and one the one that grabbed her from behind. She manages to pull out her knife and disposed of them and runs away.

Martinez and Tyreese’s group show up at an area that has a hole full of biters. Tyreese and Sasha question the point of having all those biters. They ask if it has to do with the prison. Tyreese says they’re not cool with feeding people to biters especially because of the women and children that are there. Martinez says the Governor will send them all back Allen says Tyreese doesn’t speak for him and his son Ben. Tyreese tries to convince that they’ll be fine and look out for each other again. They get into a fight and Tyreese dangles Allen over the pit of biters but pulls him back up. Martinez sends them back to Woodbury to be handle by the Gov.

Andrea is still heading to the prison and crossing an open field. She hears a car coming closer and ducks down and hide. It speeds up and starts coming closer. Andrea decides to run and the Gov. is chasing after her honking his horn with his [censored] face on. Andrea manages to get away through the woods. Night time comes and Andrea finds an abandon building to hide out in, but the Gov. shows up in his car. She heads inside trading carefully but hears the car pull up to the building. She accidentally makes a noise and starts to hide. The Gov. heads in the building and resumes their game of cat and mouse. She tries to creep away carefully and the Gov. starts whistling ([censored] insane). A walker/biter appears and she quickly disposes of it, then signaling the Gov. of her location. They creep around even more and the Gov. pleads for her to come back with him to Woodbury saying that they all need her. No reply from Andrea and the Gov. goes ape [censored] on the glass in the building to help him with catching Andrea (stepping on it to make sounds). He creeps closer to Andrea who is hiding behind a crate in fear but a noise is made in a different direction. Andrea scurries away to a door to leave but the stairs are overrun with walkers. She turns around and sees the Gov. who tells her ‘it’s time to go home’. She opens the door and hides behind it unleashing the horde of walkers on the Gov. who is last seen fighting them off.

Back at the walker pit, a shadow is seen setting all of the walkers on fire. It was never revealed who did the deed. It’s morning and you see Andrea coming up to the prison with her arm up in the air trying to signal Rick who is on lookout. Suddenly, the Gov. grabs her and pins her down while covering her mouth to hide from Rick. Rick double takes thinking he saw movement on the perimeter and looks through his rifle scope but shrugs it off as nothing. The black guy who stole Daryl’s crossbow initially checks the walker pit and sees that they were all burned. The Governor comes back to Woodbury in the morning and Martinez asks if he found but the the Gov. just shakes his head. Martinez notifies him about the biters in the pit and tells him that he might want to question Tyreese’s group. The Gov. confronts the group and they asked if they found Andrea and the Governor says that he didn’t and barely came back himself. The Gov. said the biters are just for show and they’re not to cause real harm and Tyreese is reluctant to believe him and asks why it wasn't said in the first place. The Governor just says they are outsiders so they don’t get to know every detail. Tyreese apologizes and asks for another chance to stay and the Gov. says it’s ok. Right before the Gov. leaves them, he asks Tyreese where he got the gasoline. Tyreese stands with a puzzled look and says, ‘the what…?’ The Governor says never mind and walks out. Milton is walking down the street and see the Gov. He asks if he found Andrea but he just says ‘no’. Milton then says it’s a shame about what happened to the biters and hopes that he found who did it. The Gov. then stares as at him says he already knows. Milton walks away. We then see Andrea tied up and her mouth covered in his torture chair with a horrified look on her face."

One Massive Spoiler with Pictures for Episode 15 and a tease for the Season Finale:
Spoiler
http://spoilthedead.com/forum/showthread.php/3021-NEW-Screenshots-E14-amp-E15-MAJOR-CHARACTER-DEATH-SPOILERS-Part-2 - Merle kidnaps Michonne to take her to Woodbury in hopes of putting an end to the conflict, but it doesn't do as planned....Merle get's beaten, fingers cut off & killed by the Governor and returns as a walker in Ep. 15. The Season 3 Finale will be a "Blood Bath, 27 people will die," http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/181055_464335306972331_405312099_n.jpg

Kirkman said that he knows that Season 3 lacked a lot of character development and that Season 4 will take that up a notch; the Episode 'Clear' is a good example of the direction they are taking the next Season. Also, noted that Lennie James/Morgan will play a role sometime later.

Uhh...Holy [censored] that is a spoiler!!!!
Spoiler
I knew he was going to die, but not so soon...man...that is one of your spoilers I wish I didn't read, I'm so sad now; I love Michael Rooker!!! :( Ep. 15 sounds like it's going to be a blast but 27 people dying in the Finale....that's a lot of people, I guess most will be Woodbury citizens....color me excited!!

Well. Finished season 2.

Spoiler
Dale's death ruined my evening. A show hasn't emotionally affected me like that since Game of Thrones. Also holy [censored]wtfbbqsauce everyone's infected? You just have to die?!

Yes I know I'm late to the party. So... when is a reasonable time for season 3 to show up on the flix...

I'm pretty sure they won't have it up until shortly before Season 4 starts in Oct., maybe a month before, give or take.

Am I the only one who found it strange, that in Episode #10 ...

Spoiler

... there was a soldier in the guard tower #02 from the Governor's army? I'm talking about the one who got shot fatally by Maggie a few moments later, how did he get there?

And how come that nobody was in the central guard tower (you know, the one in the inner gate) from the protagonists? I thought they were doing such duties on the regular, even Glenn asked before that "Who's on watch?"!

Oh, and the Governor's man broke in the front gates with his car, releasing Walkers from the back on the courtyard. Why did he stop there, one more gate and he could've dropped them on the inner part of the prison?

Last but not least, I felt the whole "let's shoot at everything like it's no tomorrow, but don't hit a single thing" was a little cheap, I know it's part of the show but somehow it was a bit unexpected and disappointing for me.

Other than that, one thing crossed my mind which was a little bit awkward. In the Episode #11 ...

Spoiler
Andrea arrived, forced on her knees, had her stuff taken away - pretty normal behaviour in such situation, if you ask me. But after that, why did they allow her to get in the prison? To see their living conditions? The inner sections of the prison?

Somehow it just don't make sense for me. They know their relationship with the Governor, letting a potential spy to sniff around could've been an extremely costly mistake. I get it, it's Andrea, they left Atlanta together and such, but come on ....

So yeah, even though I really enjoyed the next episode (#13) such events are still leaving question marks in my mind time after time. Maybe I'm a little bit observant and logical, but I believe these issues are not exaggerated by me ...

The Governor was just wanting to see their defenses and such, testing the waters, he wasn't actually trying to take the Prison that day. He had to find out what he is really up against, and that was the best way. As for the guy in the tower, no idea, but it is accessible from the yard. They really weren't expecting an assault that soon from Woodbury, that's why no one was really ready for it.

No one wants to believe that someone that close to you is working against you, although Rick took every precaution before hand. To be fair, the Prison group didn't know everything about Woodbury or the Governor and talking to Andrea was the best way to learn. Andrea used to be a human rights lawyer so I don't think the group really thought she would be working with such a madman. This whole episode/scene was brilliantly done imo.

Here's a little something I found on http://tv.yahoo.com/news/-the-walking-dead---norman-reedus-s-brush-with-death-and-7-more-things-you-didn-t-know-about-daryl-dixon-014937372.html and http://tv.yahoo.com/news/walking-dead-michael-rooker-talks-survivor-merle-dixon-190900608.html while checking my email today. Apologies if it's already known, I didn't see it posted yet.

Haven't read the article on Merle yet, but I did for Daryl. Interesting stuff I did not know.
