The Legendary Deathclaw

I killed him with a silenced sniper rifle. I was wearing no arnmour, cuz it doesn't do you any good with them anyway . I was about the same level. 90 plus guns plus better criticals and sniper perk. I think I shot him/her two three times. I stayed hidden the whole time. Most deathclaws are one shot kills.

Oh, no followers in the cave. They tend to give you away.

You need a silencer and then you will own, or at least that is what I have found. I have never had the Gobi, but I am only on my second playthru.

You guys are aware that mini-nukes will go off if a frag mine goes off next to them, right? At least, in FO3 there was an unsurvivable trap that worked like that.

I know what you're talking about but that doesn't work.

I stumbled into Dead Winds cavern by mistake at level 8 w veronica and Ed-E got killed quick, reloaded tried running back outside - and suddenly had 3 Deathclaws instead of just 1 !!!!!!!???

Stealthboy, run like hell while they kill Veronica and Ed-E. ran all the way to the Ranger Station before I was safe.

That place is a really nasty booby trap for the explorer types!

With 10 charisma and the ferocious loyalty perk, Boone loved using the "oh baby!" I gave to him against the deathclaws by the river... looking forward to testing him on the legendary deathclaw.. either that or a line of C4 lined up in a row like the one guy said, would probably work well. Deathclaws absolutely rip me apart but the companions seem surprisingly resilient. I will say it's fun to get in there melee style because they normally tear even a high END player apart pretty quick.

I see, The Legendary Deathclaw negates all DT.
So, your dead if it touches you.
