Personally, I had to take asprin after getting eye strain and headaches with the font, so I enlarged the page a bit. MUCH better!

That edit text is... noticeable

Seeing as you can zoom in with firefox the margins aren't a problem, but it is really annoying that the pinned topics aren't highlighted anymore

I think the new software fixed the constant random logging in/out problem I used to have to. Thank god too, that was really annoying.

Really? Nice. I was so annoyed when I would edit a long OP and it wouldn't let me post because it auto logged me out

It almost looks cartoon-y now. I'm not to sure about it.

It was often unnoticed previously, which made it less useful than it should have been.

It was much brighter while this upgrade was being tested.

That's awesome news! That was the only thing left bothering me after getting Exorince's fix as well as the grey edited text changer.
Actually - I'd like the Avatars to have stayed the same but I think the positives far outweigh the negatives of this new theme.

I never had problems with auto-logging out previously. I can imagine that to svck though! Good job it's fixed.

Huh, I guess it isn't so bad since I would rather not have a bright yellow light blinding me when reading posts :teehee:

Really? Looks more 'polished' than cartoony to me...

Maybe we can have a post limit of 285 now then?

Well, it only happened if you didn't click on anything for a certain amount of time. Like I said, I could be typing and I would get logged out.

I'm not 100% sure it really needs to be so noticeable, I'm sure if people knowing a post was edited was important the poster would say EDITED or something.

You guys realize that we've always had the option to change how many posts there are on each page right?

BOOO

Why are we being subjugated to this again? So fixed width is back - the color palate is again harsh - features are missing.

What is more - the last time this was done was also right before a holiday or some other activity, so my bet is that if they do anything it won't be until after the holidays. Why is this kind of thing always rolled out during inconvenient times?

What should be fixed:
Remove fixed width.
Adjust colors to be more easy on the eyes.
Slightly larger fonts.
Return missing features such as ...
-being able to see who else is reading a thread/forum. This is valuable to those like me who are posting bug reports to modders and want to know if they read my post or if I should wait for a reply.
-being able to adjust how many threads or posts per page are shown.
-having the page number of the previous threads follow the same format as threads do. I get I can open a box and type a number, but that is more cumbersome.
-I personally don't care that much about join date, but why not have it?

I don't mind change - when it is for the better. I'm waiting to see the better - till then it is different in a bad way and that is why it is terrible.

Yeah, but that was taken away with the new update as far as I could find...

He is just saying that post limit by default is now 7 pages instead of 11.

It was always seven pages for me.

It's not gone, it was just reduced from 60 seconds to 30 seconds.

Eye like it, after learning the "Hold control, mouse wheel upward" trick...print is enlarged for comfort.

However, without join dates...how will we award fishy sticks with ease?

It looks like ass and God knows why the subforum quick select dropdown menu in the bottom right was removed.

Oh god, I don't like it. Everything is too glossy and the toolbar doesn't follow me around like before so now I HAVE to scroll to the top to do things. D;

EDIT: Plus, it makes my beautifully designed Avatar look ugly. :(

Where do we find the news of what has been implemented.

No post limit could be a good thing, but I can think of a few forums where this gets so cumbersome that nothing gets read because it is too overwhelming.
