I dont understand peoples complaining about shooting in third person, all you have to do is aim where the screen center is

Has the aiming in third person been significantly improved compared to Fallout 3?

It was actually emphasized in a demo that 3rd person was improved in Vegas to allow players to play from that perspective unlike FO3

What were the mods like? They look good for the guns, but I haven't seen any for Energy Weapons yet so I have no idea what to expect. Wait a minute...All of your points went into the Guns skill and they gave you all Guns. Stupid demo.

Why's that reassuring?

*Remembers how Chase's Overcoat in MZ accidentally used the combat armor mesh, leaving you with a suit of winterized CA instead of the coat you were looking for.*

:P

The only codes I can imagine actually working without a keyboard are, like tgm or tcl. God mode or clipping, basically. All the other ones require specific arguments, ie "coc " or "player.additem

The specific one you want, scaling actors, needs an argument too. One which you can't provide without a keyboard.

If they can afford a console, they can afford a PC that can play NV effectively. They merely need to shop around and educate themselves as to how to put together a computer from parts.

Fair enough, I just wanted to have some GTA type of fun .-. Also, how dare you sir! just because Ive had nearly every console ever made does not mean I can afford a proper computer =/ (specially since I went through 4 Xboxes >_>)

I've got a question;

While you were wandering through the game did you ever play at night? Could you see Vegas from a distance like in the trailer?

Did you manage to get close to Vegas? Did you even manage to make it through more than one day/night cycle? The sky is actually clear, so are there stars? So many pointless questions that need to be answered!

Vegas was miles away so I didn't get close to it. Its also a shame as I didn't even think to look at NV during the night. There are stars at night though.

There are stars aswell.

Well I guess Vegas gets an extra point for ambiance. Sometimes the little things in life make it all the better. :)

Do you know if there will be a standard set of mods for all the weapons or diff mods for diff weapons? "an extended mag for a rocket launcher would be awesome"

I dont know exactly what you are asking, but each weapon has its own set of mods. For example, you can't put a 9mm Pistol scope on a shotgun. People on PC probably could but its not Vanilla.

So there's absolutely no wiggle room there. There aren't any mods that can be used for more than one weapon? You'd figure something like a scope for a magnum would be interchangeable or something.

Well, we did have pretty much only one gun of each type so I suppose it might be possible.

I'm pretty sure certain mods will be available for multiple guns. For instance both the 9mm and 10mm pistol are semi-automatic, so they probably share an extended magazine modification.
