Vodka and single malt scotch, not together but vodka and beer together is very nice, but never drink cheap vodka or scotch.

I'm not surprised this thread came from you of all people, Evilfish. :P

Beers: Sam Adams and Yuengling.

I've never tried whiskey. I was going to at new years', but I decided against it since I had already had a decent decent bit to drink. I'm kind of a lightweight so I try not to get into the habit of drinking too much.

The only actual liquor I've tried so far is Jager. It's pretty good, but I don't drink it much. The bottle I've got that's been sitting in the freezer since the end of September is still half-full.

Try making a Jersy OJ. It's Jager and OJ together! Alternatively, there's Jersey Runoff, which is Jager and Sunny-D. To note, I did not make these, it was a bunch of fraternity brothers who did.

Anyone ever done a gas chamber?
You mean farting under the covers then putting the covers over the person next to you? Yeah I done that, they didn't appreciate my home brands...
Favourite beer...Possible Carlings or Tenants since they're the only ones I've drunk and not immediately went yuck at.
Favourite whisky is a tough one, White and McKay, Jack Daniels or Black Grouse.

Apple Sourz and Rockstar its called Heartattack, and I know why. I took 3 pints of it and I was awake for 24hrs because my heart wouldn't stop trying to pound out my chest. Tasted good though.

Absinthe is a rather good drink. If you're weak with the taste of most hard liquors, but like the taste of black licorice, or can stand it better, then you'll like Absinthe.
I can't drink anything with Anise in it, other hard liquors are fine for me. I am quite partial to cider though, we've a store nearby that imports 50+ types of cider.

 Jameson's is nice and smooth! I know some stuff that really isn't, but Jameson's isn't one of them.

I'm completely unsurprised by the identity of the OP.

With regards to drinking, I usually buy the cheapest Vodka+Mixer, due to my student budget, and I've actually grown to love it.
Not the biggest fan of most alcohol but some Ciders are lovely, as are some stronger beverages.

Jaegerbombs are my favourite though. I knock them back more easily than air.

Last time I had Jaegerbombs, I ended up dropping $140 at the bar before stumbling to the hotel. I guess I yelled at the police station for about 10 minutes before my girl could get me to keep going. Never. Again.

I love dark beer and I do still drink Jaegerbombs, but I buy the stuff myself now. No more going to the bar for that stuff...

My favorite type of beer is ale, but after that it gets kind of hard to choose just one. I suppose that I'd say my top three were Bombadier, Hobgoblin and Newcastle brown, though I couldn't put them in order.

When sober, or at least not hammered I drink Ales. Mostly pale but anything interesting is good. I am mostly finishing off a IPA I brewed which is Ok, and cheap at about 50p a pint. If I had the choice and could afford it I would drink at http://www.brewdog.com/ all the time.

Whisky wise I rather liked the Springbank Claret Wood but then I like strong whisky. Laphroaig Triple Wood was also very nice. Things like Highland Park 18 are nice and smooth, but meh. To smooth imho. (Not that it wasn't very nice and also [censored] expensive). I tried some Jack Daniels (Jack Daniels Silver Select) and didn't really like it that much

Other stuff I don't admit to drinking? The cheapest stuff in the place when I am drunk (when there is no point tasting anything). The most fun drink was probably a jagertrain

Mostly stick to beer: Leffe is generally my go to. Also dig Hoegaarden, Guinness, Tilburg, Old Spotted Hen, Newcastle (though I can't drink this from a bottle anymore), Fat Tire, Sam Adams.

Strong Bow is my summer drink of choice. Tried a pear cider the other day. It was pretty foul. So [censored] sweet, like a liquid jolly rancher.

There's two types of pear cider: pear-flavoured apple cider, which it sounds like you encountered: it can be okay, but it can just as easily be disgusting. Then there's perry, made with a very particular type of pear instead of apples, which I've found is very dry and refreshing. My liver's not so keen since it's a lot of alcohol for the volumes in question, but it is nice if you find a good one.

I'm all about the cider, Strongbow will do nicely. Or if I'm at a Spoons, Thatcher's Gold or this ginger flavoured one they've started doing. Once I'm out I find myself on the sambuca more often than not, I don't even like it, just can't stop myself.
For an all time favourite drink thouhg I'm gonna have to go with malibu and coke, it goes down like juice.

I am hoping when people drink strongbow they drink it because it is there and cheap as opposed to it being nice? There are far far nicer ciders out there, you just can't get them easily in the pub (or cheaply).

Not a big fan of beer... I can't drink more than a few sips without wanting to puke. Do like hard liquor though. Mainly white rum (Bacardi's the only kind I buy cause I'm a cheap person), whiskey (I've taken a liking to Canadian Club), and vodka (anything but Smirnoff... that stuff's terrible).

Polar Ice
Polar Ice isn't bad but I prefer Silent Sam and Skyy. I've heard Grey Goose is pretty good but it's so expensive...

Yep, Britain just got even weirder. One I thought was funny though, and found through my own searching was, Old Speckled Hen.

A cold beer is always good, right now my favorite is Coors Light. I haven't tried too many "uncommon" beers. Also Land Shark is good. As for hard alcohol. Rum or vodka is my favorite.

Quite like Old Speckled Hen out of the bottle. I had it out of a can a few weeks ago and it was pretty horrible. It was all head. Just really frothy and foamy. I don't usually drink canned beer, but I wouldn't have expected that drastic a difference.
