"You have reached the state of nirvana (light bulb)"

Or alternatively...

"I've got an idea... DIE!"

As for missing anything, I hope that I won't. What I mean is, I'm hoping to again feel that isolated, desolate feeling I got when sneaking around the Capital ruins.

Don't get me wrong, there's some sweet stuff in NV (that we can see from here) but there's things I will miss if they aren't there...
Charon is probably no.1 since my favourite character idea needs someone like him and I always liked the guy, little crude but effective and useful.

Rock-It Launcher, man that thing was fun, ridiculous as hell but so fun. I loved running around picking up all manner of junk trying to headshot raiders with it, I'll never forget the first time I used it, had no ammo and ended up in a firefight at Evergreen Mills, it was all I had and my god was it fun.

Beyond that I think I will miss the knowledge, you know how it runs, you know the little secrets and it's kinda nice. Of course this is offset by the awesomeness of the new and I most definitely look forward to not knowing anything too...

I'll miss stepping out of a Vault. There's just a special feeling assisocated with that...

I'll miss Liberty Prime. That robot was too awesome a juggernaut for it's own good .
I'll miss the presence of the BOS. I just like'em that much :D . I'll miss the feeling of the ruined capital.

I think I'll also miss the Tesla cannon. Too recent a weapon in the Falloutverse to have spead a lot as of yet and the BOS are sure to guard this weapon of theirs closely, so I don't expect to see it in FNV...

That's about it :) .

Stepping out of the vault for the first time, knowing that you are about to embark on a crazy/amazing adventure. It probably wont feel as epic this time. Bethesda did a really good job with that scene, it was about all the immersion i needed to spend 400+ hours playing F3. :P

All i knew about F3 when i started playing was that it was a open game and ran off the same engine as Oblivion. Which was all i needed to know really.

Yes...that was one of those perfect "moments" that really make a game unforgettable.

I was playing earlier and i saw a red blip on my compass so I look over... Mole rats... haven't seen those in a while usually it's giant/albino radscorps/Yao Guais/and Deathclaws and all of a sudden a Yao Guai leaps over and rips my face off and scares the hell out of me.

I do hope there are leaping/fast animals to fight again :D

LOL. I was playing out near Old Olney during the night time. My wife and daughter were with me on the couch. I turned my character in response to a noise and......DEATHCLAW LEAP ATTACK! Both wife and daughter screamed which turned my adrenaline taps on full. I was glad I had gone to the bathroom recently. I hammered down on the trigger and hit everything but the deathclaw.

I'm sure there will leaping attacks. I believe I saw those snake dogs thingies leaping to attack in one of then game play vids.

I'll miss Moira to. Mad as a bag of clams but funny as hell. Threedoggggggggg!

I will not miss the metro tunnels or Dunwich building. I wasted a LOT of ammo there.

I'll definitely miss the eerie sense of ruined grandeur you got from wandering through the burnt-out wreckage of downtown DC. However, New Vegas will certainly have its own great sense of ambiance to replace this.
