Things that make you go "ROFL"

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 8:29 pm

I figured I'd start a topic about some of the really funny moments you witnessed while exploring the realm of Skyrim. This could be almost everything, from an interesting kill to a comment made by an NPC. Lets see what you guys have.

Here is my submission:

My stepson was playing and entered the Inn in whiterun. He was always a little annoyed with the bard that was always singing when ever he went in for a drink or a quick nap. He decided to punch him in the face and killed him. The rest of the people in the Inn decided this was justified and started clapping! Sadly the rest of the town didn't seem agree and he had to revert to an earlier save.

I always laugh when cicero in his funny voice, says, "Let's Kill Someone!" when he is a follower

Shouting animal allegiance on mammoths and watching them steamroll a giant. Casting frenzy inside an inn.

I was out traveling when I saw one of the members of the companions (I'm the boss of the guild by the way) cowering. I don't remember what he was fighting with... I think it was one of those ice wraith.

After seeing this makes me want to be ashamed of being any part of the group.

I wish I had the option to kick people out.

Having an area load and watching an NPC get beamed across the map at light speed for no reason what so ever.

I got

First is I thought, Base Jumping in Skyrim! So I just start jumping of cliffs with Fiem ( Fade Shout ). I didn't realize this but I am close to a dragon, but I found a high cliff and go to jump. In the middle of falling I notice the dragon on the ground below me looking up. Funny thing was is I landed on him. Nice to be the one in the sky for once.

I was in a gambling dungeon/arena, it has bandits so I just can't walk in. I continue in sneaking pass bandit guards to a dog fighting arena. I survey the area real fast then I notice there is a naked gambler trying to buy a drink!

Another time I found a hidden bandit bar, but everyone was already killed. So I continue to look around and killed what killed the bandits. On the return trip out I heard voices and seen the bandit leader and her right-hand man walk into the bar and just go, "What happened, who did this...". then they saw me and she screamed to get the other guys attention to kill me.

Last thing was I entered a large dwemer room and was thinking, "Okay, wheres the trap". I continue into the large room and see no enemies, a small of light appears in the middle and I go to it ( I really don't know why it got me so easily ). I proceed to touch it then a car alarm like sound popped up then I am hurled down deep into the side of a mountain. Needless to say every time I get the chance, I get friends to go there and do what I did. You fall the longest fall in Skyrim I think, thing takes forever for you to land.

Flying giants in whiterun was one of my personal favourites... Also watching a Falmer or Draugr trigger their own gate traps and ending up impaled them really tickles me!.

I love skyrim, every once in a while there are some real golden nuggets of humour that leave me in stitches :)

Some people get all wound up about this, but I think it's funny - when you strike an enemy with an arrow, evade detection and then hear him/her say "must have been my imagination" WHEN THERE'S AN ARROW STICKING OUT OF THEIR FACE.

Also when enemies butcher you and then say "Need something?" to your fresh corpse.

I'm sure there are better, but they elude me right now.

I always crack up when I sprint towards a Bandit and land a crit hit. Their last words are usually "Watch it" or "What's the rush?" LOLOL Seriously? Who the heck programs this stuff?

I think he means the daedric artifact ebony mail, with its special poison effect.

A guard saying: "Is it true? Did you kill a dragon?" only to be followed by "Whats the matter, someone take your sweetroll?"

A guard told me "you're like me, you don't like those clunky two-handed weapons". She had a steel warhammer and I had an ancient Nord greatsword.

Skyrim is a single-player game. A daedric artifact is supposed to be powerful.

And the point was that he didn't attack the dragon at all, it was just nitpicking on him while he healed himself and let it die of poison damage.

Lydia, when she fights a bandit and says "You call yourself a Nord??"

Slaughter fish that swim and attack you on land.

And: sprinting with both hands out but no weapons. Try it!

Bandit say "is that all you got" right before there head starts rolling on the ground.

The quest for an Orc woman where I needed a deadric heart.
I asked where do I find a deadric heart, she looks at me like I'm stupid and says"why in a deadra of course"
Boy I felt stupid but it made me laugh.

When I'm climbing up a mountain, I look back and see my follower stuck, running into a rock. Overall, followers losing their sense of direction can cause hilarity.

You got a point. I didn't read that one. But another thing I mentioned is that both me and lots of others here on these forums are dead tired of "hey that's overpowered" or something. It's not an MMO so your favorite word "balance" doesn't apply here.
