I agree it is a great forum. I am going to be doing a report for one of my college classes. Anthropology, I didn't want to take it, its an extra curricular. The only class that would fit my time table and I need the credit to graduate in the spring. The paper will be for an Ethnography, whatever the hell that is :ermm:

Yeah, but it gets tedious. Every time there's a thread about Enclave, Modernism, or Vs threads, I see the same knuckleheads shouting the same 'points' or 'facts'. At this point I can easily predict the out come of most threads involving those keywords. I can't say I wander into TES, I haven't played a TES game since Oblivion, I try to keep out of things I don't know.
It's like that just because of the limited subject matter. Only Fallout related subjects in the Fallout section and only ES related subjects in the ES section, it makes sense that you'll get repetition.
Skyrim forum sure has its fair share of immature users. Not sure why,but there aren't as many in Oblivion and Morrowind forums.
Its newer and the mods haven't had as much time to cleanse it of the impure.

This is really the only forum that I have kept up on because of the diversity of the population. I can get tech advice, game advice, and.... love advice all in one spot. Whats not to love!!!

In my opinion, the current forum population is on a downward trend in the areas you mentioned; almost assuredly due to the influx of Skyrim folk.

HAHA no
I think our moderators , me and other forumers have acted like children many times. Not even counting the werewolf games among other things and rivalries among moderators and people who are on this forum. People stick to their cliques like a high school and shun outsiders. Every once in a while a new person that cliques agree to be likable is allowed in. If you praise us you greeted nicely and you feel good for a bit and then they go back to their cliques.

I like to think of you as more the drunken uncle you never want to be alone with in the pool, and the avatar doesnt help. :teehee:

That was....nicely said, actually :lmao:

But honestly, I have said a few times before that these forums are very well maintained. I haven't been to the Serebii.net forums in a long long time, but my time there made me impressed by the level and balance of rule and members.

I don't take kindly to people who don't take kindly to people who take kindly to people in general.

Ethnography, whatever the that is :ermm:

I believe it is the study of human culture like rituals and among other stuff.

I guess it can be the study of these forums, as well

Still, no-one can take the sense of self-important feeling being replied too/quoted gives me.

I mainly visit two forums that are almost the complete opposite of each other. The other one being a place to vent all my immature idiocy (although that doesn't stop me from doing it here either :))

I really like this forum for the intelligent and often hilarious members, but I get a little irritated with the overly sensitive moderating and rules.. If it were up to me all forums would be complete chaos  muahaha

I run Gametanamo... which is a forum of misfits who have almost all been banned from EAUK.

We troll the hell out of each other, but it's all in fun. We post all the crap there that would get us banned from official forums such as these

We have a public section, which is largely ok and linkable and a private "approved members only" section that new members who don't seem like they'd be easily offended get invited to join.

Ebaumsworld forums. Really funny people despite (because of?) generally being messed in the head.
