Giving this game 9.5/10 is simply incredible.

This game constantly crashes, has a horrible framerate also on ultra high end configurations despite the really bad graphics (2007pc game are far better than this in terms of graphics quality), if you see a shadow sometime in the game you are lucky,
the player has no voice, the textures are blurry and very low detail, the sound effect is really basic and repetitive, the menu is tricky, the animations
are bad, most characters slides instead of walking, no particles, no shaders, the water seems to be a texture, the smoke is something seen in Quake 3 Arena.
the story is really fragmented and difficult to follow for a first time player of the saga, I played several hours but I don't understood who I am, how I'm there and why.
The first hour of the game is something like, take this letter here and than give this letter to x and than give this object to y.
The mouse movement is strange, it seems to use a pad instead of a mouse.

I'm playing since many hours but this game is not engaging me, I'm continuing to play just to understand how people can say that this
is a great game, should I see something that will change my thinking?

What have this game that rocks?
But how can a game with such huge limitations and problems take 9.5/10 in reviews?

I don't think anybody agrees with you. The game is great, solid graphics and story line, everything I hoped it would be.

No idea what you were expecting, but it sounds like RPGs are not for you. MW3 perhaps more to your liking?

-Crashed once for me in 50 hours.

-As for the sound, invest in surround sound, you will hear the difference. I really dont get the problem with sound in the game, but then again i am using surround sound.

-The story is easy enough to follow unless you are taking on all sorts of quests right from teh word go - i suggest just taking your time with 1 quest before moving to another.

-Lol, sure there are terrible textures in places, but teh water is definately not a graphical failure, i think it looks awesome.

-The first hour is actually bad i agree, i was deeply unimpressed....but come back by 10 hours, and say the same thing

You may think you know a lot about the quality of the game, visual wise, but the plain FACT is that you're wrong. This engine is one of the best for gaming as it is, either you have a bad rig or you're just lying/trolling. Of course you're entitled to your subjective opinion about the game, but objectively, you're wrong. I haven't played any Elder Scrolls either but I had no trouble understanding anything story wise. This is one of the most engaging games I've ever played.

Also, the animations are bad? A dragon circling a mountain then flying down to you scorching you and then landing, is a bad animation?

nothing special and 9.5 doesn't go together now does it?

I agree with Naxacaud. I haven't experienced any of the graphical problems you cite. The shadows for me are all crisp and clear, the framerate is smooth and steady, and I have not experienced a single crash.

This game is amazing, GOTY for me. If you don't like it don't play it but don't come on here and try and make others dislike it too.

I play FPS games, yes including COD. Not played TW2...but tbh, just like DA2 (played the demo) them rpg's seem like linear dungeon crawlers to me :S

So far I've had no crashes on PC, but I have had one on XBOX.

Your character don't have a voice or backstory because you're supposed to come up with that yourself...

The more time I've put into this game, the more I like it. The other day I gave it an 8/10. However, two days later, my opinion has changed completely. 10/10 even with some of the bugs. The game is just pure awesome.

i'd give the game 8.5/10 just because there are several others experiencing issues that makes it unplayable, unenjoyable, etc and for PC it has "poor" interface and poorly optimized. But the game is simply amazing so it makes up for it. I'm sure these issues will be fixed asap.

It runs perfect on Xbox for me. Maybe look into your CPU's capabilities before bashing the game.

Oh and maybe go play a non RPG, sounds like your not familiar with them anyways.
