Welcome to the rest of your life. MUAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty much this. Soon you will eat, sleep, and breathe blocks, an obsession with finding diamonds, and an eternal fear of hissing.

Turns, there is an unoccupied jungle to the south of spawn you could go to. I can set you up with basic resources if you need any.
That's OK, I'm gonna set myself up with a house at spawn first, before I look for a place to strike out into the wilderness.

I think everyone is waiting for the inevitable update. I know that I am.

It usually gets slow when people are expecting an update, not feeling like bothering to actually do anything as they know it will be destroyed in short order.

People need to man up then and see it as 'honing their craft' and stop bawwing they'll lose their precious buildings. Until Minecraft is done being updated, our maps won't likely be permanent. I play soley on MP because i enjoy the company of others, but since virtually no one plays now, it feels like SP, which makes me bored.

im not on because i don't have very much free time right now, any i do end up having is spent passing out over exhaustion.

although again, it is not necessary to have to change maps because of the change of chunk generation between 1.1 and 1.2. the only problem would be some weird bits at the borders of previous exploration but other wise every thing would generate as intended. unless people are wanting jungle biomes close by, there is no benefit to starting a new map.

At 0:25, anyone else actually want spiders to do that?

No, definitely not. I hate spiders enough as it is...

Well, yeah. I know you and a few others either grew bored or are just plain busy, it's the users who gripe about there being 'nothing to do' after they have it all, then when a map change comes up, instead of practicing to make something in preperation for the new map, they just go 'whatever, no point' and you don't see them until the new map. It's kind of silly people seeming to want to keep their stuff and have new things to explore.

As for map changes, I dunno, I figured changing to fresh maps produces the best results. Especially things like the Tekkit map. Say it was explored 5k in all directions, you'd have to walk 5k just in hopes of a jungle biome spawning. It's best to just get a new map in those cases.

Spiders that can rest on walls ceilings: Yes
Arrows that actualy stick into your target: yes
Spiders that actualy turn to climb instead just floating up the wall: Oh god YES.

I'm fine with this, until at least the world generator creates biomes that actually USE the new height limit. The tekkit map is relatively small right now, so not an issue with jungle exploration. We can also have portals that take to a jungle or something, right near spawn.

Also, click either of the status banners on the Stats page, will show you webstats for mcmmo.

For me its a combination of the two. I have a lot of studying to do and so what time I have I don't want to invest in a map that won't be around for long. I enjoy things after I have built them, they are more than just temples to my ego and it's simply more worthwhile to build them in the knowledge that I can keep them for a while.

My roof seems to create a funnel that injures spiders.

Indeed, that's what my current home on the Tekkit map is. It's my home, albeit I didn't realise how huge it'd be when I finished it. But it's still a nice enough home.

Painterly does, btw.

Put on a leather jacket and put your hair in a pompadour, then hit the server. It'll turn it right back on.

Anything major/funny/controversial happen on the server? I'm now the admin of a server of basically my brothers friends. Basically they do my bidding as I sit in my castle eating cakes :P

Question Tank: Is there any chance of letting us use our shears to gather bushes and vines? I was trying to build in the jungle, and apparently can't harvest them due to the RPG mod.

Isn't that what shears are supposed to be able to do?

RPG mod? I've been able to collect vines and bushes myself, unless this mod is something that's been added in the past few hours.

I thought it had to do with my Ranger class. But me and Turns weren't able to shear things.

Yep, I haven't picked a class, and it wouldn't let me shear leaves.
