Vampires can't use the face-changer?

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 1:49 pm

I think they got rid of the fangs because too many people complained about how awful the fangs looked on the beast races. I personally think it's dumb that they got rid of them after so many complained in the past about how they didn't get to have fangs like the other races. Now nobody gets to have fangs, and it'll likely stay that way despite the fact people have been complaining from the beginning how most female characters don't get to have fangs as a vampire. It is also ridiculous how vampires can't use the face-changing option or crossbows as well. It seems crossbows are to Dawnguard as werewolves are to vanilla Skyrim, where they are strictly restricted to a very specific story they wanted to tell and that for some reason they don't want anyone outside the Dawnguard faction to have and use one.

Where are people hearing u cant use crossbows??!!! I still have my crossbow with me in my inventory
Spoiler
since u get it at the begining of the DLC -__-

in what kind of confused spirit changing your hair style or war paint is "working on dead flesh" anyway you just get rid of vampirism, turn off your eyeliner and eye color to correct yourself dirty face glitch and then contract diseas again so its not so important ... Also when i watched the trailer it was about hiding the sun forever allowing vampires to invade skyrim's forest instead of bears. The whole trailer look like a big lie to me after watchin entire vampire faction playtrough. Big disapointment for me, I wish there was more things to do with vampires ( possibility to ally with cave vampires or i dont know so many ideas and so less possibilities finally it seems when looking at your posts guys).
Look like siding with the dawnguard is more interesting after all... well now its too late we know what's on dlc now

I did the block out the sun thing with a certain thing but idk how long it lasts tho I did enjoy that soon after a vampire attacked whiterun  So hope its forever XD
Also I am disapointed with the way when you turn into the vampire lord form that you get freaken attacked by the ppl in the vampire castle O_O wtf?!

Edit: ug sorry for triple post, though there was a delete thing :/

The "block out the sun" only lasts a day. You can keep shootong it but it only works when the sun is FULLY out and its not snowy or cloudy. What an anticlimix...and yes they'll attack you. It's a design flaw. They're not programmed NOT to attack you.

It added about five seconds to the time it took to change my face and become a vampire again. Just save before becoming a vampire. Once you figure out how it'll change your character's face, it's relatively easy to rectify. Personally, I don't think this is a big deal.

Not being able to customize the castles, on the other hand...

Edit: And what are you talking about with "reverting back"? Other than the normal changes, that's never happened to me.

But does curing your vampire disease reset Vampire lord perks, like if i become one again do i still have all the perks i had?
