Like most of the stuff,But like you i think some things doesnt make sense. And of course it could have been better,Everything can be better in someway. I just want to know,Are those vampires really the volkihar? I just want someone to explain why they arent like in the lore :)
Also the vampire attacks... sounds horrible,They need to fix that!!

At least vampires attack cities now. Something new for these fans to complain about. Wouldn't it be easier for just the player to be attacked? I would love to see the reaction in each and every one of their faces. Bask in the virtual tears :P

Personally I feel like there should be two strands of vampirism in-game. One should've been the normal Cyrodiilic version (attacked at stage 4), while the other the Volkihar version (this version would've been attacked regardless of which stage they're in, but when they feed they become more powerful). The blood potions and forced-feeding animations could've been used with both. And also, those who made pacts with Molag Bal (even existing vampires who made a pact with him) would've been granted the ability to use the VL form (each strand could have a different VL appearance), it wouldn't have been passed on through blood or infection or anything, but you needed to make a pact with Molag Bal to use it (it would need some kind of sacrifice or task). Considering that Vanilla vampires were basically Cyrodiilic vampires, it could've been explained that this clan pushed out the Volkihar clan, and in Dawnguard, they returned. Basically the vanilla vampires shouldn't have been changed at all, from where their lairs were... too anything. It just would've introduced the Volkihar as a new enemy type. The Dawnguard would attack both though.

Also, I don't feel like there should be a new strand of lycanthropy. Wild werewolves should give the disease (and also a "lycan pelt"), but it shouldn't be one that gives forced transformations. It would be annoying and tedious in my opinion, whenever you wanted to use the power you'd just end up waiting until there was a full-moon (which would take a long time). If they made it so werewolves can transform once a day, but kept it so that you have a forced transformation once every full-moon, I think that'd be awesome. That way you can use the power when you want to, but also have to take caution whenever a full moon approaches.

All I want to know is why Sinding is effected by transformations at night, which led him to steal Hircine's ring. If he is, why can't we be effected that way? And why can't we go to our buddy Sinding to get transformed if we want to be a werewolf.

Because by all intents and purposes, SInding is a "regular" werewolf not affected by witch pact.

Sinding is a regular Daggerfall style werewolf. He can turn at will but also suffers from lunar transformations.

Exactly. The guards also complain about howling at night, but I'm usually a werewolf at day, using it instead of fast travel. :P

If Dawnguard can get VL ability, Vampires should get all crossbows. If not, it gives you no real reason to join the vampires.

Is it true that there are no facial changes when you become a vampire lord? I know the stage 4 gave the beast races fangs as well as the red eyes, but what I am seeing here is Vampire Lords look normal. if so, i know its trivial, but this is a serious deal breaker for me.

Um, you get glowy eyes :3 But yeah, no real perks to being a vampire lord.

The beast races get them, as well as the elongated fangs? I'm seeing 4. Beast Races don't have the new cosmetic improvements for vampires (such as eyes).
In the bug thread. Why on earth was something this freaking obvious not caught. Seriously, this makes me furious.

Its an effing outrage is what it is. WHY WAS THIS NOT CAUGHT. Very poor job Bethseda. beta testing was supposed to catch obvious bugs. This is about as obvious as it gets, and it is a real immersion (yes I said the I word) breaker.

I'm serious. Fix this with the next patch. and fix it for the console users since we don't get mods.

Thanks for screwing up again beth

Pretty sure it was caught. Caught by beta testers, reported by beta testers, ignored by Bethesda.

If I had known this, I would not have bought the DLC. I'm serious, this kills being a vampire for me. I am sooooooooo mad.

6. The continuous dumbing down of Vampire and Werewolf drawbacks. Let there be sun damage and forced transformations. It's the price you pay for your power. Now we aren't even acknowledged for being vampires until you go Underworld on them. Did they suddenly forget what other vampires looked like? And why? Feedings easier than ever, so why remove incentive to do it?

To be fair I would be really annoying to suddenly change into a werewolf or vampire while just walking around the city or being in the middle of a quest or dungeon diving. Forced transformation would really make the option of becoming a werewolf or vampire undesirable.

The forced transformations would only apply to werewolves, and it wouldn't be random like it is during Ill Met By Moonlight. It'd be once or twice (two moons and all) a month, you'd be given a notice as the sun is starting to set that you feel your beast blood stirring, and you'd know to get out of dodge with plenty of time before you actually would transform.

That's all it would take. Equipping the Ring of Hircine would prevent you from transforming, so you wouldn't really need to worry about it anyway, if it was such a problem for you. There'd also be the Companion's "Werewolf Light" strain that could prevent you from being subjected to this.

They also cut alot of content in the story. look at this:

Harkon has a cage in his room next to the chairs. Never gets used.

Harkons 2 advisors who want to steal the throne from him do nothing when you become leader and treat you as if your no one.

Molag bal alter has no use at all.

Unable to side with harkon. Serena is also a vampire lady could of just made her te final boss if you sided with harkon.

Both strongholds svck. cant upgrade them. I think they did that on purpose to sell us house dlc later.
i seen a WW pelt in a case across from the cage,i thought maybe there was supposed to be a werewolf in that cage, would have been cool.

Why can't you work for Bethesda?! Just your ideas alone would make this game amazing.

I'm flattered. I'm more than willing to work for them if they'd have me.

Maybe you should PM Gstaff and ask him to set up an interview? ;)

So are you willing to tell us how you got your hands on the Official Bethesda Meeting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minutes. Could you include the rest of it aswell, I'm waiting for the end part after everyone leaves; Peter Molyneux steps out of the shadows and congratulates his new apprentice Darth Howard..... or mayby mayby Todd's already dead and good old petey-non-completey is wearing his skin.

I'm flattered. I'm more than willing to work for them if they'd have me.
Maybe you should PM Gstaff and ask him to set up an interview?

Please don't! Start your own game studio, put them out of business with your original, non-casual, story based RPG games then buy the TES franchise off them. Much better plan, yes?

Uh, sir, we've been all talking about this idea ever since Skyrim's werewolf gameplay was made known. It was what was supposed to be in the game in the first place. I'm not discredeting what Dovah said, I'm just saying.
