I just don't see how you can continue to insist that this game or this DLC are spectacular.

Because it's my opinion. Just because you think it svcks doesn't mean everyone else has to think that way.

Wait Skyrim and its DLC are not spectacular?

What the hell?? ...lol.

Ya, good luck with being the minority with that kind of backwards thinking.

Just like FO3 got ruined when the lvl cap was raised to 30, this just ruined the game. whatever little choices this game had are now gone and you can just have all perks maxed.

Oh come on. That whole "it's optional, therefore it's okay" argument is complete garbage. A horrible excuse for bad game design.

I could apply that same logic to all sorts of crap that has no business being in a TES game. How about putting a magical rocket launcher in that will home in and kill all enemies within a dungeon? It's an optional feature of a singleplayer game, therefore it doesn't matter how OP it is or how much it [censored] on the game's setting... right?

I wasnt saying that it makes it ok, my point is that due to the fact that it is optional it doesn't affect my gameplay what so ever. Like I said in a post above I would have rather them not put it in, but its in there, im not going to use it, others who might find it useful will, whats there to argue against. Principal....oh please. Studios make games to make money, plain and simple. They do this by appealing to the largest market they can.

This thread is getting pathetic, this DLC is universally aclaimed by almost everyone, even people who hated Skyrim think its amazing.

You can appeal to people by treating them as intelligent beings instead of blind stumblebum half-wits who can't make a decision.

and even then I have to ask what will become of FO4.
Well, if the Boston rumors are true and they follow the trend of "perk respec" then it will be a [censored] "awsum" shooter with SPECIAL cut out, a completely cringeworthy android civil rights movement storyline and probably settlements like Little Lamplight.
Let's just get acquainted with Wasteland lore and wait for Wasteland 2. Best bet.
edit: Also, what plothole did you find? Just curious.

But there are alot of stumblebums with money buying thier games. Having the option in suffices everyone. Those who dont want it dont have to use it, those who do, can. Only people how have an issue with it are the ones with the high and mighty, Im a true TES fan, attitude.

As I said above, I think it could suffice everyone if, at the same time, they gave us challenging content.
As Sergeant and I have stated, it's more about the principle of the thing. This feature sends the message of "we're not interested in providing you with a challenge," which concerns us. If however they included another feature of the DLC that WAS challenging, then huzzah, it means Bethesda still is interested in challenging folks. From what I've seen however, the new enemies (bosses included) deal the same pathetic damage all enemies deal to end-game characters...

A true intelligent being would understand games are for fun.

So......Why so mad?

Do like it, don't use it. Simple.

The Ebony Warrior is challenging from what I heard.

Hardest fight in the game, unless you throw him off a cliff. I set the challenge of killing him with a wooden sword on master. I not only succeeded, I one shotted and decapitated him. This was after thirty minutes of Marked for Death, mind you.

There are certain features that do not need to be included in The Elder Scrolls. Guns are one of them. Bad voice acting is another. However, the ability to reset your perks would be the largest dissapointment of all.

Considering perks were only added in this game it seems a little overdramatic for resetting them to be the "largest dissapointment of all" And in a way it would let you RP better, for example, I didn't realise that there were more perks than levels (I know, stupid, I should have done the maths) so I spent a couple of perks on things nothing to do with my particular rp for that character, hundreds of hours later I realise I wont be able to pick all the relevant perks that I wanted. Surely this is not such a huge issue.

Also, and I know you probably hear this alot, just don't use the aspects that you don't like, it's not something that you will inevitably encounter such as random events, combat mechanics etc. this isn't even on nirn, you can just avoid it.

All the bosses are hard, a dragon priest curb-stomped me with lighting rays of death.

When a person is a bitter, sad human being with really bad mental issues.. A simple feature such as respecs in a single player RPG is worse then world hunger.
