Ok so I have successfully downgraded to 1.1, but the bug which resulted in my downgrading still exists?

I do not receive the shout at Northwind Summit. Have I managed to stumble into an unpatched glitch the moment a patch is released? Or is there something else causing this problem? Luckily its a shout that I will not use on this character, but thats not the point.

Neither patch was supposed to address your pet glitch. Read the top of the subforums- gamesas posted patch notes explaining what each was supposed to do. The latest one seems to have faild anyway, but neither was supposed to address the problem you're talking about.

I did read throught the patch notes and I was aware it wasn't there. It is just that after encountering the bug a few minutes after downloading the 1.2 patch and then searching around the internet and finding nothing, that it was just one other bug caused by the patch.

Can someone tell me if I've done this right? I went through all of the steps, have the usb drive plugged into the 360. When I boot up the game, it doesn't show a version number at all in the lower right corner of the main start menu. If I remove the usb drive and start the game, it shows v 1.00.4.0. So if no version number is showing up, does that mean it's working and I'm playing patch 1.1?

Lower LEFT corner. And switch to window where is SAVE, LOAD, SETTINGS, CONTROLS, HELP, QUIT. I mean start the game, press START button and LT.

THANK YOU! Yes, it worked fine.

For the record, I used the horizon program because I wanted to save the title updates to my 360 hard drive through settings>memory>thumb drive>games. I ended up having to save 3 title updates to my hd for it to work, basically all the NTSC ones (I'm in the US).

I'm back to 1.1.19.0 and I don't have to keep the thumb drive plugged in which is nice.

which updates do i need to download if im in the us, sorry not used to f*ckin around with this stuff, really would appreciate the help, ive download xtaf ive formatted my usb i downloaded the 1 update 49A1477A but im not sure which other ones to get considering theyre all from nov 11 but from different region on the xbuc site

Try 34F5B6C3. Looks like this one is for English versions worldwide. PAL only seems for specific localizations in Europe like Italian, German, French etc.

k, thanks, i tried dling the 3 ntsc ones, using horizon i applied and saved it to my thumb drive under title updates but still no update pop up upon starting up the game

No update popup while online? Maybe you have the latest version already. Do not forget to clear the cache before rollback procedure.

You don't get update pop up when starting the game up if you have reverted to v1.1 using the discussed method. The old version is already uploaded onto your USB or HDD so does not need to update your game in the same way that an xbox live update would for the first time. Basically if you have the system update on a USB or on your HDD your game will be v1.1. Have you checked which version you have in-game?

yep cleared my cache and it still wont pop, uggggghhh, ive cleared my cache for similar reasons before but this is annoying as hell

nevermind im back restarted the xbox twice must have missed something the 1st time alright im going to try again

What are you referring to exactly? I don't see any mention of modding the xbox console anywhere.

No one will get banned for playing Skyrim 1.1 on their xbox.

Xbox does not ban people for manualy inserting title updates and user made content for offline play. If they did everyone playing Pro Evo Soccer with custom option files from the web would be all banned, they are not.

They only ban when you affect ONLINE play and the integrity of network itself.

This means it probably worked. Load your save file and hit Start then LT and there should be a version number in the lower left corner.
