Post » Tue May 10, 2011 7:08 pm

Running Man?
Fortress?
Gamer?
some direct to DVD movie whose name escapes me..

I've seen so many movies It's hard to say, about the only movie I have no intention of seeing is that Live Action Super Mario movies from 10-20 years ago.

Edit:More like 20-30 years ago.

I really don't see any other similarities to saw besides the imprisonment part. And even then, Jigsaw and Elijah both have vastly different motives when imprisoning people.

Ha, yeah well I don't think anyone wants to voluntarily watch the 'Super Mario Bros.' BUT I'd also add 'Double Dragon' remember that one? not even hard liquor erases the memory of watching it.. oh and who could forget the downright horror that was 'Street Fighter: The Movie' with Jean Claude Van Damme!!

I've seen some truly twisted movies in my time.. and some of the worst ever committed to celluloid are from Hollywood!!

Movies from the 1980's and early 1990's are like what Disco was in the 1970's we should never have gone there, but we did anyway

The Nightkin is a Nightkin... named DOG. (Supposedly, he does have it knifed onto his chest...)
And later on in the trailer, he is swinging at you with his rebar club. I wonder....

I wanna know what FEV Tank he got dipped in.
On topic, I really can't wait for the backstory of all the characters. And I do hope DOG doesn't betray me.

He'll probably betray you if you piss him off. I would hope that DOG doesn't just betray you every time, no matter what you do. A linear path is fine, but a static story that isn't the trend in the base game wouldn't be.

PLEASE, you need to release this for PC and PS3!!!!!

It will be released for ps3 and pc it is only a TEMPORARY exclusive like all of the FO3 DLC's

EDIT: Given the 360 release date (21st December) I assume PS3 and PC will be getting it in mid to late Jan or if we're really unlucky early Feb :(

I hope your right waiting 6 months for dlc was pretty bad. Hopefully the fallout 3 dlc sales on ps3 were strong enough to get the new vegas dlc out to us faster.

Didnt us PC/PS3 users have to wait like 6 months for LaD and BoGT for GTA4 before we got to get it?

Do you ever see those new companions with the courier in the video? I wonder if maybe you get to control the companions as they go on separate missions?

Well, you can see at some point in the video the Nightkin(?) fighting against the Courier.

stop it at 0:49

I don't know what that means, probably depending of your actions, they can become ether allies or foes to you.

Can't find anything online about this so...

Has a priced been anounced yet? I assume its $10 or 800 MS points, but just want to be sure. I have I think 1100 MS points at the moment and would like to know if I should pick up some more next time I get the chance or if I'm good for now.

Great trailer which really gets the adrenaline going. DLC theme is a big surprise. I was expecting something totally different like some Humphrey Bogart desert mystery setting. Instead we get some creepy sci-fi do or die with some far out counter culture type companions at the players side. Nice one.

Hopefully a pc version will come out if its meant to be.

It looks like it's going to be all linear and stuff. :(

And Elijah seems like a total badass, I hope I can make him elder again.

Most DLC for the Fallout Series was if I'm not mistaken. Broken Steel was fairly linear (you COULD go and do something else for a bit but once you got into the main mission that was that), as was Operation: Anchorage (I think it was called) and Mothership Zeta. The Pitt I never heard anything about or played so I don't know its deal, I know that the other one wasn't... but yeah, the idea is that the DLC generally gives you a 3 - 5 hour story with a couple extra side quests at the end to do.

As for the trailer, I wasn't really expecting anything this cool. I kind of figured it'd be "take a long walk to a Casino, fight some people in a Casino (or robots), go steal the treasure, yay." This looks pretty interesting, though I know that if I have the option, I'm killing the person who put the slave collar around my neck when I'm done.

Who said that? It will no doubt be released for the PC, just a couple months later than the Xbox. Microsoft paid a few extra bucks for the exclusive rights to it beforehand (much like Sony used to do with the GTA series which always annoyed me when I had an Xbox and a PC only), just be patient.
