The weapon itself is "silenced" so no need for a suppressor. It was doing 22 damage at full repair from what I could tell (quality is a little grainy), has a weight of 3, and a strength requirement of 3. :tops:

EDIT: Its name is "Silenced .22 Pistol"

Of course it is. I told ya'll that after e3 when I saw it on a monitor behind Chris during the demo. But will the vault change it? Noooooooo.

Anyone know what their main weapon is going to be?
(Aka the weapon that is on your back at all times while you stroll throughout the desert, only switching to new weapons in desperate situations?)

I am torn between the M1, the Service Rifle, and the Ranger Sequiaio(sp.) Also the hunting rifle with a scope. :P

Do you really think the developers would include a mod that makes the BB gun a lethal weapon? From the start of the franchise, the weapon was meant to be a pop-culture reference to an old 80's movie, nothing more than that.


You obviously never played "Fallout."

The Red Ryder SE BB gun did 25-25 damage. You could kill human targets with one shot using it. It was a great weapon in the game.

I was just over at the wiki and saw someone had listed the effects of one of the ammo types: .357 hollow point - DAM x 1.75, Target DT x 3.00

Ok. Hollow point, nice damage modifier. But notice the DT modifier? DT x 3? That means any target with a DT of 33 or more will only take min damage with this ammo. I haven't been paying much attention to the armors, but does anyone know what the DT on some of the armors are? I wonder what level of armor will make this round moot?

Is the suppressor visible? And why would they make the stock gun suppressed, isn't that why they made mods?

Hmmmm, tough choice, from the weapons we know, the Ranger Sequoia will be in my holster when I'm wandering the desert, or the Service Rifle, suppressed. When I am in close quarter situations then I'll have the Riot Shotgun on my back.

I saw the .22 Pistol in a stream of the game and it looks exactly like http://bdwoodturn.com/pics/newMKIII512.jpg so its definitely a pistol inspired by a Ruger. (Its got a nickel plated barrel, black grip exactly like the pic I provided)

So it looks like your dreams can true friend. :tops:


OMG I recognize this from MGS4,. It was the Tranquilizer gun in the game.....maybe.....

I don't think they were.

Well they could be statistically functional only and reduce spread. I agree a visual implementation wouldn't make much sense other than cosmetically.

I guess, I still hate that spread is even in the game.

Backup: Sturdy Caravan Shotgun / Varmint Rifle
Sidearm: .357 Revolver
CQC Weapon: Machete
Other: Dynamite, Razor, BB Gun
Ammo Carried: No less than half of "free" space.

Primary: #1 Fully modded silenced Assault Carbine #2 A fully modded sniper rifle of some kind
Backup: Fully modded silenced SMG of some sort or the 9mm SMG compact grease gun.
Sidearm: Fully modded silenced 9mm pistol
CQC Weapon: I dunno probably a fast melee weapon like a combat knife
Explosives: All kinds of explosives including C4, frag grenades, frag mines, pulse grenades and later a missle launcher if I have the strength to use it.
Ammo Carried: All of it!

My first character is going to be Gun's, Sneak, Explosives tagged with repair being a priority along with putting a few points in survival here & there. He is pretty much going to use as many supressed weapons as possible and explosives (a lot of explosives :]).

Your right on the money actually 8 strength is required, It'll definitely be a staple on my Caesar's Legion Melee/Unarmed build. (2nd play through of course) :tops:
