Werebears and Spears... maybe next DLC? #2

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 11:06 pm

I used spears a little in Morrowind and I was not very impressed so not a weapon of my choice, however, I am completely in support of werebears.
I had a feeling you would like werebears.
I want hircine's hunting grounds to be a place I want to continuously go back to and not be creeped to where do not want to be there.
I hope we can a least visit the hunting grounds in later dlc.

They could just use the same perk tree as werewolves.
I think it would be cool if bethesda could redesign it in the shape of a bear claw.

I could see them doing that. Since the werewolf is a wolf and the Vamp. Lord is bat/skull thing.

The werewolf one looks dumb, I like how they did it in the game jam version.

I prefer how it looks now like he's howling to the moon, though I wish there were more perks like the gamejam version

I like the wolf head with the moon in the background and clouds moving.

If you could use all the totems as a Werewolf that would just be peachy. Maybe they'll add this along with Werebears...just imagine using "Totem of Brotherhood" with a Werebear!!!

I think that totem should be a werewolf exclusive, since wolves are more social pack animals.

They should probably replace it with a berserker howl similar to the the orcs racial ability.

Bears may not be as social as wolves but then they are not Werebears. Werebears are known to work together and in cooperation with Werewolves.

I think what hes saying is he doesn't think they would have the "Totem of Brotherhood" to be able to call a buch of werebears.

True, Hircine may group them together to have greater success during the hunt, but I think bethesda should give them another howl to make werebears more unique from werewolves.

If spears are included like many of the game jam items are, i'd like to see unique ones, and some really intense finishing moves, as well as seeing quite a few more enemies using them.

The Snow Prince's spear in particular i'd like to see. Since the Snow Elves are quite obviously becoming more of a presence gameplay and lore-wise, it'd be nice to have a little bit tacked on without drawing any focus to it.

I agree. Like werebears, spears would also fit the theme of Skyrim well.

I wouldn't mind the Snow Prince's spear.

How do you all think they should be wielded?

I imagined two handed, held butt to tip, left hand to right hand. Block and bash like a two-handed, or maybe even have them just lash out with the butt in a short attack. Kinda how the bows just bash enemies back.

Maybe hold attack and block together, and you prep to throw it?
