Werebears and Spears... maybe next DLC? #2

Post » Tue Nov 20, 2012 11:06 pm

ontopic:Honestly I do think bethesda will add werebears cause to me it looks like they are trying to get in as many of the gamejam ideas as possible and I think werebears are native werebeasts for skyrim I think.
I think they will add them too because it is something people are little upset about since they didn't add them in. They are native to Skyrim, and are the most common lycanthrope in Skyrim.

Nope, werewolves are warriors and there is nothing you can do about it.
Do you purposely quote people and say irrelevant things to piss people off!?

In the "why no werebears?" thread I posted that having a DLC based around the Dwemer, Thalmor, or dragons because the Dwemer should remain a mystery, Thalmor should be the main focus of the next game, and we don't need anymore dragon stuff they got old fast, and are just a nuisance now.
I agree, the dwemer had their time to shine in Morrowind

Thalmor should be in the next game. And the dwemer should just be left alone. I want DLC's unrelated to Skyrim's main questline.

Agreed. I'm still holding out hope for spears, flails, and spell-combinations.

Indeed. This whole "Werewolves act like warriors" is nonsense. They're much more than warriors of the wild.
And if they add Werebears werewolves should be more of a sneaky type and Werebears more of the warrior "tank" type

Exactly.

And I agree with this we need DLC that have nothing to do with dragons, that is how all the DLC for TES games have been, so why change that.

I kinda like the mystery of the Dwemer being so advanced like they were and then just up an gone...kinda like the Romans

Like this idea. And it would make more sense, werebears would be bigger and bulkier than werewolves.

I know it is very cool, and I think if they take away that mysteriousness from them they will be ruined.

Or if they all the sudden just reappear. I'd find that weird. Some things are just left a mystery, like sasquatch.

Indeed. I would be mad if they brought the Dwemer back out of no where. Sasquatch isn't a mystery :lmao:

HAHA I know he just a tall tale but anyways adding the Dwemer would be a big scew up for Beth. I would like more magic for sure I don't make a mage because I always find the same ol spells.

That would be a big screw up on their part, and I think they need a magic based DLC because the magic in Skyrim is pretty bad. But I would rather have a DLC based around Hircine and his Hunting Grounds.

I dont want a "were" based DLC just maybe a small side quest tho Hircine's Realm. Maybe that will satisfy the people that dont want them?

True, but I don't think Bethesda can do Hircine's Realm justice in just a side quest, I would prefer it to be the main focus of the DLC. But I doubt Bethesda will do this because too many people would complain they are trying to turn this game into Twilight or some stupid thing like that.

I don't either but I dont want people to gripe about "oh why did Beth focus on just were-creatures" but then we would have the opposite I guess.

I just hope they add Werebears no matter what and maybe some how Hircine's Realm.

Yeah, all I really want is for them to add werebears, and werewolves that are true to lore, having Hircine's Realm would be a nice extra if they added it in as a side quest.

I agree with this. The Werewolves aren't 100%ly true to lore.. Maybe the Companions are since they could be a special breed, so to say.. But the Wild Werewolves should really have been changed in a way to make it more like Daggerfall's Wild Werewolves..

Also, Werebears rly gotta be added..

And yes, I would like to check out Hircine's Realm. That would be awesome!

I like the Companions idea, but they should have both strains because both are cool I just prefer the normal werewolves.

Yeh. I would love to be a normal werewolf but they will need to update Hircine's Ring as well since that ring is suppose to allow normal werewolves control their transformations.. Also, I would love some Bloodmoon Werewolves.

Agree. They may be no more than glass cannons now but in the past they had a modest host of abilities as well as strength, health and stamina. They had night eye, detect humanoid, great boost to other physical attributes and to sneak. All the makings of a real beastial hunter.

I don't either but I dont want people to gripe about "oh why did Beth focus on just were-creatures" but then we would have the opposite I guess.

I think most of us would be content with a small questline and more deserved attention applied to a well loved aspect of TES series. I don't think many people are asking for Skyrim to be overrun with Werebears.

I agree I dont necessarily want them to over run Skyrim and I don't want a DLC to be just about them. I just really want them in Skyrim.

I rather have a DLC just about them than any of the other crap in ES. Just my opinion, though.
