What 5 mods would you want if the creation kit was out?

Post » Mon May 21, 2012 1:05 am

1. Potions except Health, Magic and Stamina are rarer, and so poisons last for a lot more hits. They dont even have to be the same strength, they can get weaker with each hit, but I find it annoying to carry 20 bottles of a poison so I can keep reapplying it to the point its useless.

2. More armor for hunters, I want one of my characters to look like a hunter or bandit, but after the first few lvs you need to go into elven and glass - kind of ruins that one lol.

3. A way to call horse if its within a certain radius. Companions ride on the back of the horse when you get on it - I have a lot of issues with the horses, they are more of a burden, but I think this tops it.

4. More weapons, and I dont mean special weapons, I jus mean weapon variety - I just find it hard to believe everyone is crafting weapons in the same fashion xD, so a mod that makes different weapons even if they have standard stats - would actually be better that way.

5. More quest lines like the first in mage's guild - idk, maybe I'm just a nerd lol, but I loved the idea of the college actually being a place where they *gasp*, teach you things. Of all the nuances in the guild quests in skyrim - that one was the most enjoyable.

1. A mod like skyui, just perfected to be the best.
2. All followers level up to 85 (so if you somehow gain level 84 you still ain't stronger than your companion) and companions having different skills. (Like Marcurio is the only follower with chainlightning)
3. More mods like skyboost, that works even better, and works with each other :P
4. The MMORPG mod to be finished.
5. Overall more quests, fun ones, not the "Follow me, then fight 3000 draugr on your own, and then meet me at the end again like I was there the whole time" ones.

1. A trash can!!
2. An alchemy sorter
3. A base like "all in one basemant" (Oblivion) or "pocketdimensional home" (Morrowind)
4. More quests, more places to explore, more factions, more people to talk to
5. More spell effects

uhm..

6. Reworked horses, which: can carry stuff for the player, have different characteristics (speed, durability, etc), aren't suicidal, can be parked at stables (permanently until you un-park them)
7. Graphics enhancements
8. More/better appearal: armors, weapons, clothes, character looks, NPC overhaul
9. Better UI, tailored for PC interface (like a finished SkyUI)
10. much more :)

1.) actors in charge

2.) kyoma's journal mod

3.) spellmaking

4.) book jackets

5.) crafting staves, robes and other mage stuff.

5. More quest lines like the first in mage's guild - idk, maybe I'm just a nerd lol, but I loved the idea of the college actually being a place where they *gasp*, teach you things. Of all the nuances in the guild quests in skyrim - that one was the most enjoyable.

Agree. I usually play a pure mage but this game seemed to be trying to change my mind from the beginning. I'd like to play one.

Appearance changes between different levels of armour crafting quality

That's such a good idea. Definitely up for this one.

Would be nice if there was multiple variations as well for each one.

i.e. 5 random appearances for Novice Steel, 5 for apprentice Steel etc.

1: An Arena/fight-pit. Much like the one in Conan the Barbarian: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_42qmKBSC3g

2: Oblivion mode "LadyDeadlocks Love Your Horse " ported to Skyrim: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13892

3: Some creating "Avatar of Balthazar" to be the new dragon armor: http://images.wikia.com/gw/images/9/92/Avatar_of_Balthazar_concept_art.jpg
4: Horse combat. Because I absolutely hate to dismount from the horse every time I encounter enemies. :swear:
5: Being able to fight in the water. It is just ridiculous that you can`t do that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GewuWpjjhE

In no particular order of importance/want:

1. Marriage/Romance overhaul - If you're going to put it in the game, it needs to be more than a shotgun wedding. :/ I'd like to see more depth to this. As well as more options and all races included.
2. More Faction-Involvement Options - I'd like to see more availability to be IN factions like the Vigilant of Stendarr, the Forsworn, the Thalmor, etc.
3. Deep-Story Quests - I'd love to see some original story quests that really pull you in.
4. More Houses to Buy
5. Metropolis - I really want to see a city that FEELS like a city when I'm in, with separate city quarters. Almost enough to get lost in - like the Imperial City, but bigger.

EDIT: One more I'd love - Journal Mod, like Kyoma's Journal Mod for Oblivion, so I could write in-game on all those blank parchment pages! Not sure if it'd be possible, but it'd be nice to have one with an Export feature of some sort, so I could read my writings outside the game as well.

I'd be happy with just one mod to make caves actually look like underground dim lit places needing a torch to look around, and not the early-midsummer-afternoon-at-the-park type-of-lighting I'm seeing now, even with brightness turned way down.

Been done? Search for Realistic Lighting without Post-Processing on the nexus. No Tint and Desaturation has some darker interior options, too.

I'm right there with you man, I really need some armor to make me feel like I live off the land with my wood elf hunter. He is now using that fur armor that has no shirt, but I wouldnt mind upgrading.

Well,

- Something like better cities and fountains, including stone or wood walls around all cities including Dawnstar

- A real follower mod, with lost of dialogue and a real story and or more faction/guild depth

- Much more economic life, with trader, general stores, tailors, in all cities, and a revamp of existing merchants (of instance, Solitude's smith has no smelter)

- A lot of player houses, I love these

- an unofficial patch

2. MMM
3. Expanded mages/thieves guild quest lines
4. More spells / Midas spells / tweak the way spells work
5. Better monster AI (monsters/NPCs use spells better, use potions, read scrolls, run away properly, yield and then don't attack 2 seconds later, etc.)

1. Needs like thirst, hunger and sleep. those needs would vary if you have diseases, under magic effect or poisoned.
2. Bleeding/"realistic wounds". crippling and incapacitating effects would be very nice. wounds should very rarely cause an infection and sepsis.
3. Area expansions
4. Guild/faction overhaul
5. More varied random encounters

1. Survival/Needs mod
2. follower quest mods
3. crafting expansion
4. new magic spells and shouts
5. Horse Combat and horses to not be completely useless.
6: Bears and Wolves to be less hostile to the player; note I said less hostile, I'd don't like being chased by an animal that normally isn't so hostile.

Booty, I borrowed your list and added two of my own. Hope you don't mind.

1. Marriage overhaul with Romance, own kids, maybe a quest to adopt a kid
2. More houses and better furniture (Maybe something like the "Imperial Furniture Shop" in oblivion)
3. Primary needs
4. More quests (deeper, with more possibilities to decide and some options to betray - example: if you want eloa to leave the dead persons you can say her you clean namiras cave from the draughrs. Then you get the quest to take the priest with you and to sacrifice him. Why is there no option to explain the priest what has happened and get the new quest to kill eloa instead of eating humans?)
5. many others - but i see they will be done : Big Thanks to all the modders!
