1. More practical/fashionable clothing options (aka, no more silly sleeveless Balgruuf or no bikini fur armor, capes and cloaks, maybe toss more trench/longcoatiness too)
2. Bash lock/ unlock spells. Teleport spells, more powerful Telekinesis (who wouldnt want FUS RO DAH-levels of power in their Telekinesis, throwing heavy objects at enemies, etc)
3. hardcoe mod (complete with portable sleeping device [tent/bedroll])
4. VASTLY improved follower AI
5. a "Become a Jarl" mod wherein you become a jarl, complete with your own city to keep, defend it from bandit attacks, dragons, etc

1. Real-time skillbased lockpicking with a useful perk tree. Preferably with a lockbash option.
2. Unleveled merchants where inventories are unrelated to your level, but can depend on your actions. E.g. solving a quest for a merchant could improve the merchants inventory, and solving the civil war and main quest lines should also improve merchant inventories.
3. Pay alchemists, smiths and enchanters to make and improve custom stuff for you. Yes, it should be expensive so that the corresponding skills still have value.
4. More convenient UI.
5. Essential overhaul to make fewer NPCs essential, only have them essential when it is actually needed. Many can be respawned with a new name and face, anyway. Related to this, it would also be nice to be able to explicitly attack a faction and try to exterminate them, e.g. the Thieves Guild.

I never play using mods, I only enjoy creating myself xD
But if there's anything I'd like to see, it's really good level and world design mods. It's really neat to see what wonders can be created with seemingly boring assets.

1 - Non-leveled dificulty mod. I want to go to places that are too hard for me and retreat and come back later when i level up more, dont like auto-leveling of the world, seems fake and loses immersion.
2 - re-balanced Crafting. blacksmiting + enchanting + alchemy is completely broken, makes the game way too easy if you know how to craft.
3 - Map markers with notes
4 - Ability to add personal notes to your quest log
5 - General bug-fixes to quests.

Other than that, just the usual adventure mods with new quests, locations, after a few months of launch. Vanilla skyrim is already quite awesome in the quantity of stuff to do so far.

1: Unarmed + Unarmoured skill tree, with gear to match. Also able to enchant gloves with damage enchantments.
2: Magic overhaul so spells scale better with skill level.
3: More NPC travel between towns. Currently Skyrim doesn't feel as alive as it could do even with dragons flying around.
4: Mage's College improvement. Quest line felt a lot shorter than the other factions.
5: Overhaul of the crafting system so you can't create broken weapons and armour.

1. Better after ending-storyline quests and management.
2. A really balanced armor system where using light, heavy or no armor has real bonuses against each other, out of looking cooler/roleplaying.
3. More and better spells; my hopes are in Midas Magic here.
4. Improved stealthed-playing, ala Thieves Arsenal.
5. Alternative startings for warriors, thieves, assassins, mages, etc; there are atm a few mods with this, but they somewhat "kill" the main quest.

He actually got hired by Obsidian, so it's not impossible unless it breaks some sort of non-compete-majigger

In order of most to least importance:
  • Digitigrade Khajiit legs (probably doesn't even need the CK for the model replacement part, but it hasn't been done yet)
  • Playable dragons (with flight, attacks, etc. fixed)
  • More sensible dragons after the main quest (as in, they usually leave you alone)
  • Better (larger) Cities
  • My own mod to add in my favorite Morrowind and Oblivion music tracks without replacing anything
