what a ripoff!

Post » Sun Dec 12, 2010 11:36 am

i downloaded at 6am , took a nap from 10 am to 1pm , completed the dlc at 1:30. how can they put out dlc that should have been in the game , and charge 10 bucks ? come on !!!! fallout 3 was better ! more content would have been nice . all it is is the rest of Caesar's legion story and enough with the hints , it builds excitement , like i had for this dlc and then you get a mediocre dlc at best . shame on you Bethesda , SHAME !!

Everyone's opinion is valid. It's just that some opinions are less valid than others.

EDIT: Okay, that was way too cynical to keep alone for long. Just let him think what he wants. He's right, just like you.

Did you actually PLAY it and explore it, or did you just grind through it to guy 'OH LOOK AT MAH E-PEEN! I BEAT IT IN (Insert obnoxiously short time span)'?

Well this one is minuscule, NEXT to nothing.

The conversations alone in this DLC is well over the 30 minutes you took to finish the whole thing, meaning you just skimmed through to the end and then called it a ripoff.

Wait, Majestyk, did you have that bug where a majority of the characters are hostile to you, allowing you to finish the game in an incredibly short amount of time? If so, you missed 90% of the content.

Then apparently it's user error.

I'm betting this is what happened. From what I know about the DLC, I don't see it as feasible for him to finish it in 30 minutes.

Also, funny side-note, the only written user review on Metacritic for the xbox is a 5. His reason? He hasn't played it yet, so he's just placing it there until he does.

Why did you say it took you 30 minutes, then?

You never said you started at 6am, so people assumed you started at 1pm. There is a reason the word "elaborate" was created.

So it took 4 and a half hours I'm assuming that was just the main quest with no side exploration thats really not to bad dead money goes at about the same time if you just do the main quest and rush through it, play time is highly dependant on playstyle so it could easily be longer for a lot of people.

Anyone give a real assessment of the length of the dlc? Maybe compare it to other dlcs.
